Naya Brown POV;
"I'm scared to look at it." I said.
"You have to actually go on it before it gives you results Naya." Bash said in my ear.
He wanted me to take a pregnancy test because he wants to impregnate me. He's been trying ever since the divorce got finalized; and I thought one was already enough.
"What if it's negative?" I said.
"What if it's postitive?" he said.
"Then I take the responsibility of this child and raise it with you."
He kissed my ear and left out the bathroom for me to take the test.
But did I really want another child? I was barely 22 and so was Sebastian. Him wanting another child was af if he was mature enough to have a family. Don't get me wrong, he's all man, but he could use a lesson on parenting.
"I got this. No turning back." I said, nervously that is. I pulled the stick out the box and did my buisness on it. The results said it'd take 15 minutes, so I wiped it off and washed my hands. I stepped out the bathroom and walked straight into Sebastian and TJ. "A little space please?"
"What's it say?" he asked smiling.
"Processing results."
"Ha, ha, very funny." he sarcastically said. "So, my mom's coming over today with the rest of the family to settle all this shit about her boyfriend."
"Easy on the language, baby in your arms.
"Maybe we should start cleaning the house then."
"They're family, they don't care how messy the house is." he said. He blew raspberries on Terrence's cheek, making him laugh and walked downstairs.
"Is Lizbeth gonna be here? I miss her."
"My sister from hell? What's there to miss?"
"Well it'll be nice having another female to talk to other than your mom." I said.
"What should we cook?"
"We? You volunteer to help with dinner?"
"I meant you but I'll help if that's what you want me to do."
"I just want you to watch TJ and not to touch my food when I'm cooking." I said.
"What're you gonna cook?"
"Maybe bake some cornbread, whip some cupcakes for your brother-"
Bash laughed, cutting me off.
"What's so funny?" I asked.
"I'm Spanish Naya, we don't eat greens. We eat black bean and corn salsa. Pork tamales, tres leches cake, and taco casserole."
"First off, I don't know what the hell that is and second, where would I get all that stuff?"
"We can go into the market, see a bit of my heritage." he said. "It's about 8 miles out of town, not far. We can bring your mom."
"She's not my mom."
"Well she's sure as hell acting like it, so let's bring her. She's Spanish like me so she'll help you shop and look around."
"Maybe, where will you be?"
