A Final Moment Together

"She's in the house," Kookie repeated loudly, waking Tae from his sleep. Jungkook looked down at Tae as he repeated the line once more. The severity of the matter finally hit him as we ran out of the room seeing the bright red footprints leading into my bedroom. Tae was the first one to run into the adjacent room to his as he came out with a grumpy Suga.

"What the fu--," he stopped mid-sentence, noticing we were all looking at my bedroom door. We heard a loud thud come from my room as Suga joined us in the corner of the hallway. Jin, Jimin and Namjoon were next to go from their room noticing the footprints are the floor, and quickly running to our sides.

"What was that thud," Jin whispered grabbing my waist. I shook my head as we all looked around. "Where's Hosek," Jin whispered again trying not to talk any louder. We looked around the hallway to see the boy was nowhere in sight. I decided that one of us needed to go into his room and make sure he wasn't still asleep. I crept around the rail, slowly making entry into his room.

"Hobi," I called softly, looking into his bed. Realizing that he was not in his bed, I started to panic. I ran out to the rest of the boys to inform them of my find only for them to be stunned in place with tears in their eyes. Turning around, I suddenly knew what the thud was as Hobi crawled out of my room. His head was bleeding as though he had been hit in the head. His eye was blackened, and lip busted but I couldn't why he was crawling until I saw the knife coming from his thigh. In the act of bravery, I went into his room and grabbed the fire poker beside the fireplace and ran to his aid.

Crossing the hallway between Jin and I's room, I quickly realized he wasn't alone. The girl stood behind him easing his weakened body out of the door. "Taaaaae," she hummed menacingly. "Why don't you love me Tae baby? We had so much fun together," she giggled. I stopped as I watch Hobi try and get up only for her to kick him back down. "Where the fuck do you think you are going, sunshine?" she asked kicking Hobi to his back and twisting the knife in his leg.

"I'm coming, Hobi," Tae screamed from behind the rest of the boys as he tried to push through their barricade. Tears falling down his face, Hobi closed his eyes ready to meet his end.

"No Tae, it's okay," he whispered. I stood in defense mode waiting for her to let her guard down so I could strike. She covered herself with a BTS hoodie that had Tae's picture on the front as well an all-black face mask. I know that voice I whispered to myself as I inched closer to her. Her long brown hair and olive skin complemented the chocolate brown eyes she sported under the mask.

Her gaze turned to me as her eyes squinted under her mask. "Hi, Dr. Chen. It's so nice to see you again. I'm so sorry for the way things turned out, but you left me no choice," she started as she tilted her head downwards and her eyes grew darker. She raised the knife attempting to take the final blow into Hobi as I readied my weapon and rushed up to her. Taking the fire poker and hitting her across the head, knocking her unconscious. The boys rushed to Hobi and me as they grabbed the weakened boy and ran downstairs.

"Tae! MAGGIE," I screamed after them. I took the knife from her hand as I removed the coverings from her face. So-ra? I stumbled back, surprised at the identity of the attacker. Running downstairs and into my workshop, I heard her screams coming from down the stairs.

"GET BACK HERE HE'S MINE," she screamed. Closing the door to the workshop, I realized my phone wasn't in my hand. The door closed to MAGGIE signaling the boys' safety as I realized the spare key to my workshop hid on the hook in my room. I heard her try the lock to the door once then walk away. Fuck she knows where my key is I thought to myself as I ran to the portrait on my wall inputting the code for the safe room. Quickly running inside and locking the door, I grabbed the cordless phone that hung on the wall and called the police. Once I was sure we were safe, and they were on their way I had the guys lay Hosek in the middle of the floor.
