One would think that lacking a magical potential during a magical No-Rule Arena match would be difficult. They would be right to. When we left Team Frostfire and Blackstar behind it took tooth-and-nail for us to make our way to building 8C. Of course, the four of us: Keagan, Randal, Lane, and I were completely useless. Even with the two privates, now conscious.

"Can't we get a break," Keagan yelled as we jumped away from spikes of metal that that shot out of the ground.

Randal kicked a glass doll that was charging at him, "Dude, I don't think breaks even exist!"

"Stay focused," Sergeant Eden shouted from behind a wall.

Sal caught a bolt of red magical energy, "Do you seriously still have no magical energy?" He crushed it, his skin soaked it up like water.

"If we had any magical energy wouldn't we be helping," I gave him a look of disproval.

Sal's attention was called to by a mini-army of porcelain dolls.

I saw flashes of silver that sped toward Sal.

"Watch out!"

He turned just a moment too late. I closed my eyes and clenched my teeth. My mind filled with images of the worse. There was a zapping sound that seemed to charge my fur with electricity. I barely peered through a partial opened eye; Sergeant Eden was next to me with Sal.

Keagan let out a low grumble of irritation, "I'm tired of doing nothing!" He threw Lane's limp body to me. I stumbled under its weight.

Keagan ran out from behind the wall. Spikes, dolls, and bolts of magical energy unyieldingly shot at him.

"Go away," he was infuriated.

Keagan propelled forward, launching off a brick of earth he had summoned. With a mighty almost primal roar he flew through the air. Earth shattered under him when he hit the ground. He muttered a few words then waves of earth shot toward three people that had been attacking us and entirely buried them. Everything fell quiet.

My mouth was agape, "Well...." I cleared my throat, "I guess our magical energy is back."

The twins spoke in synch, "You don't say..."

There was shuffling on the ground next to me, "Oh... My head..."

I gave a nervous smile. I had mistakenly dropped Lane in my shock.

"Ay! Lane, my man! You're up!" Randal smiled.

"Shut up..." He struggled to his feet, "Your voice is making my head hurt more."

"And still your same old self... Shame..."

"Just... shush."

I smirked.

"I don't know what you're whining about buddy," Keagan walked up to Lane throwing one of his arms around his shoulders, "It's doesn't hurt too bad."

I became aware of Lane's pain in my head, "Just a minor headache in my opinion."

Lane shooed toward me, "Whatever. Where the hell are we anyways?"

The sergeant went up to him, "Uh... if I may explain..."

I raised a brow. She seems a little nervous.

Lane's eyes changed. At first, they seemed confused but now it was more like a mix of panic and a cry for help, "Um... uh..." he fumbled for words.

Sal stepped forward, "We're in a utility building that is near building 8C, our current goal."

"Who the hell are you?"
