"Did everything go good?" Bulma asked, hugging her son tightly first, before switching to Vara and doing the same. "He got the cure?"

"Yeah, they're  informed and ready for the fight they'll have." Trunks said, letting her know that Goku did say thank you for what she's done already.

"He really is just as you and Dad described him," Vara said, as they walked further inside being led by Bulma straight into the kitchen. "His reaction when Trunks told him who his parents were was hilarious."

"That much of a shock, huh?" Bulma smiled at the two teens who sat down as she went on to cook something for them.

"Mhm,"

Vara and Trunks went on to tell Bulma about everything else that happened, while once again their hands found each other underneath the table. It was normal behavior for them since they were children, constantly holding hands just to have some form of contact with each other. It was something that made Bulma smile because she knew there was something there between them and one day they'll end up together. She just hoped their future together is brighter then the one they're living through.

"Are you sure going back is a good idea? You could end up doing more harm than good."

Vara nodded her head, taking a drink of some water to swallow down her food to answer Bulma, seeing as trunks were busy eating at the moment. "With Goku alive, there is certainly a better chance of a different future, but if Trunks and I help them out - there's no doubt that they'll win!"

"Well, I know if anyone can do this, it's the two of you."

Trunks and Vara grinned. After the two finished eating, they decided, well, more like Bulma decided, that they need this day to be an off day. So the rest of the day was the three of them just having a nice time without any thoughts of time traveling or fighting any androids.

"I wish every day could be like today," Vara wistfully said, letting herself flop onto the bed so that she was laying on her back, her black hair splayed out on the pillow above her. There was a pair of black rimmed glasses already on her nose as her hand reached out for the old book next to her bed.

"It'll get to that, one day." Trunks silently promised walking into the room after a hot shower. He was just in his boxers and a black tank top when he got the sudden idea to jump on Vara, making her let out a small pained whine at the new weight. "You'd think you would be used to that,"

"I don't think you realize how heavy you are," She groaned, letting out a few complaints as Trunks moved into a push-up stance only so that he can get in a more comfortable position and lay back down on her, his head resting on her chest.

The book was momentarily forgotten as she closed her eyes and habitually started to card her fingers through his hair making him sigh. Silence takes over the room as the relax. Well, it's silent until Trunks said,

"You look really cute in your glasses,"

Vara's cheeks heated up as a dark pink spread across them. She looked down at him as he lifted his head to look at her. In her flustered state, she hit his head, this time making him groan out in slight pain. Her eyes widen.

"I'm sorry!"

"You'd think you would be used to it!"

There were many things Vara could get used to, but being complimented by him would never be one of them.

Months pass, and Vara was starting to think that maybe their time machine was going to take at least a year to recharge. She let out a sigh and looked up into the sky. She was out where she and Gohan would train, and Trunks when he was able to join them. This is also the place she first turned Super Saiyan.
