Chapter Twenty-Four : Different

"I haven't seen them since this morning." Jack stated.

"Where the hell are they?" Daniel mumbled with his face in his hands.

Corbyn kept pacing back and forth, "Maybe they skipped."

Jonah shook his head, "Lea told me that if she skips again, it's a week of detention for her."

"But if she's with other people, it's only two." Zach mentioned as he slid his phone back in his pocket, "Carla didn't answer."

"What about the others?" Daniel asked.

"Tried them too, still no answer." Zach answered.

"Fuck." Jack mumbled.

Corbyn spun his heels and walked off in the other direction. The sound of feet running was behind him, until it stopped. Corbyn guesses they caught up with him.

"What are you doing Corbs?" Jonah questioned.

"Going to Alexis' locker."

Corbyn kept looking at the lockers until he saw a specific one. It had the girls' names written on it with permanent marker. Carla's was purple, Maryjane's was red, Roselyn's was yellow, Leanna's was green, and Alexis' was blue.

Corbyn went straight to the locker and turned the dial, until it opened. The sight of papers and book filled the boys' vision. On the inside of the door there was pictures of family members, the girls, the ten together, then there was one that caught Corbyn's eyes. It was a picture of him and her, it was at party. Corbyn has his lips on her cheek, Alexis smiled, you could tell she was laughing based on her face.

"How do you even know the combination?" Daniel asked.

"I see her put it in everyday, also I remember numbers and such, very easily." Corbyn answered as he grabbed some type of keys out of the dry easer marker carrier, "She left her extra house key."

"Um, we aren't breaking into her house, right?" Jack questioned.

"Technically, but that doesn't matter." Corbyn slammed the locker door shut, "The girls always rotate on whose house they go to. They have went to the other fours homes, now it's Alexis' week."

"So we're breaking in?" Jack clarified, "Because that isn't on my bucket list."

"Let's just go." Zach shouted, "They could be there."
