Chapter Twenty-Seven : Before
The ten had separated. No longer the ten, just to two individual groups. The girls smoking and partying. The boys getting into fights and getting detentions. Also, the girls are hanging out with Jason and his friends. The boys are hanging out with The Fakes.
"Hey, beautiful." Nathan whispered into Alexis' ear.
Alexis turned around and gave a friendly smile, "Hey, Nate."
Jason and his friends aren't much as assholes, you just have to get to know them. Like Jason may seem like a jerk to the boys, but to the girls, he's a great guy.
"Did you hear about Jonah fighting Jeffery Cohn?"
"Or Zach fighting Cole Gray?"
"Or Daniel getting detention for fighting some drug dealer who goes here?"
"It couldn't be Jason, he's with Leanna."
"I don't know, but Jack was about to square up with Joshua Ramirez?"
"But I heard Corbyn was going to fight Nathan next, you know, for taking Alexis away from him."
That last comment caught the girls' attention. Alexis walked up to the group of girls, who were gossiping and said, "Listen good and well, Corbyn doesn't own me. He never did nor he never will. Me and him were acquaintances, hardly that. So keep talking shit, we'll beat all your asses up. Understand?" The five girls nodded their heads repeatedly, "Good. Now scram." Alexis walked back to the nine who were talking and laughing, "What did I miss?"
