Chapter Eight : Giving

"What are you guys doing here? It's only seven." Jack groaned as he opened the front door.

It was the next day, Sunday. The girls were too tired, from all the walking, to go to boys' yesterday. So they came early in the morning.

"Sorry, we wanted to give you guys something." Roselyn apologized.

Daniel furrowed his eyebrows as he walked over, "Gifts?"

Maryjane laughed, "Just stay inside, we'll get you guys your gifts."

The boys nodded and went into Jack's living room, they left the front door open.

The five girls went to Roselyn's car and took their things. They walked back inside.

"Here you go!" Leanna shouted.

The boys popped their eyeballs out of their heads. They raced over and looked at their gifts.

"What the?" Jonah asked with a gasp, "Did you guys buy all this?"

Leanna nodded, "I bought you stuff, Mary got Daniel stuff, and I think you know who got who stuff."

Zach had his mouth open as he hugged Carla, "Baby girl, you didn't have to buy me anything!"

Carla laughed, "But I wanted to."

Corbyn hugged Alexis, "Why did you guys get us stuff?"

Daniel was swaying himself and Maryjane as she answered, "We wanted to repay you guys for protecting us."

Jack let go of Roselyn from their embracement, "But that's our job, as your boyfriends-"

"Boyfriends?" Leanna asked.

Jack blushed, "Fuck, I meant, guy friends, well some more than others." He looked at Carla and Zach, "We have to protect you guys."

"And as your gal friends, we help you with your fashion." Roselyn remarked, Jack pretends to be offended, "I'm just kidding!" Roselyn kissed his cheek, "But here."

Alexis smiled as she handed his gifts, "Don't look at the price tags."

"Why?" Corbyn laughed.

"Because I don't want you to freak out when you see the price."

Corbyn rolled his eyes and looked at the price tags, "What is wrong with you? These cost more than my whole outfit I'm wearing!"

Alexis frowned, "I'm sorry."

Corbyn shook his head, realizing his mistake, "No, no, no, Lexi. I meant you didn't have to spend this much money on me."

"Remember the talk we had about our wish list items?" Alexis nodded, Corbyn nodded, "I bought you some of the things on that list."

Corbyn widened his eyes, "No you didn't." He smiled as he pulled out his new Gucci shoes. The ones he has been wanting for so long. Corbyn brought Alexis back into his chest, "Thank you!"

Alexis giggled, "It was nothing, these more though."

Corbyn places his hands on her shoulders, "I don't need all these expensive gifts, Alexis. My love for you is endless."

Alexis looked up at him, "Corbyn, I wanted to buy you all these things because I love and care for you, so I wanted to do this."
