him;

mandy clings to my arm as we walk through the mall. she’s gorgeous, and absolutely the most conceited girl i have ever met in my life. her heels click clack on the tiled floors as she obnoxiously chews her gum. it’s almost as annoying as her frequent case of gossiping. despite all this, i decided to date her, to spend my time with her. i needed to be with someone who wouldn’t care if i was a complete douche to them. selfish, i know. but since when wasn’t i? you could call mandy and i the perfect match. she drags me towards a clothes store—i sigh—and immediately starts flicking through the items on display. i wasn’t paying attention to which shop she had brought me into until i saw her at the front counter. she looks at me, startled at first. shit. shit, shit, shit, shit, shit. i forgot that she worked here on the weekends.

are you sure about that? admit it, you wanted to see her, since she hasn’t been coming to school lately.

shut up, brain.
