I hope these answer some of what you've been wondering. Some are just fun ones. . . I'll try to be as helpful as possible!

Q: How did Shawn get out of prison so fast?

A: Two years??? That's not fast!! He broke out of that bitch with the help of a prison guard. Well, in my mind he did. It could be different for you since I didn't really write about it.

Q: Were Shawn's parents appearance just a random fact to fill a chapter or was it actually important?

A: Well, it was a filler chapter but i wanted to show y'all why Shawn was so messed up at first. I wanted to show that the reason why he inflicted pain on others, was because his father hurt him.

Q: How do you differentiate from Rebecca, and what are some similarities?

A: I'm not gonna lie. It's quite hard to COMPLETELY separate yourself from characters in the book especially when you're writing in first person, and I do it subconsciously.

A big difference is how innocent Rebecca is. And nice. I'm not that innocent and I am not so sweet to people, especially ones who have hurt me. She forgives people a lot (Shawn, Jason) but i never give second chances.

Similarities is that we're both black ;), I believe we're the same height around, and she has that love for god that I have as well. We also really like nature so much. Which includes every aspect of it.

Q: The dream Rebecca had when she was operated (in Master), is it like a premonitory dream?

Not really. It was just a way to show that she was really falling for Shawn.

When did Shawn get Rebecca pregnant?

A: The night he was leaving. After they got married, he was all up in her guts.

Q: Didn't Rebecca visit her mother during those two years?

A: ugh! I was actually going to write about it but I think I deleted that part by accident. I'll go back and change it but she basically invited her mom to stay with her just to help her during the first few weeks after she gave birth.

Q: Favourite and least favourite character?

My favourite is Rebecca for sure, but Shawn is close behind.

Grant sort of pisses me off ;(

Q: Why did you make Shawn a gang leader in these books?

A: I really wanted to shape him as this crazy, psychopath.

Q: Will you continue this book?

A: don't get me wrong, I would love to continue this book for y'all but I just don't have that same passion I had at the beginning of both stories.

I have no idea what I would write about for a third book. I have some ideas, but I can't see myself typing them.

If that passion comes back, of course I will. Because I love my book babies and I want to keep writing about them ;(

Q: Is there a theme that you wanted to get across? (love this one)

For 'Master' , I really wanted to tell a story about how you can't help who you fall in love with. And I wanted to write about that type of dangerous type of love you don't see a lot in stories.
