Chapter 8

Well christen called off the little couple get together shit thank you lord. She said her and JD were mad at each other. 😂. I had been blowing up Lialles phone up for hours. I know she sees my shit. where the fuck could she be? I think I'll just see if Christen wants to go get something to and then maybe we could chill. Texting her would be best

Me: hey you hungry?

C: hell yeah, you cooking or something?

Me: 😂no. We can go out to eat it's on me

C: ok! Hurry up then

I took a quick shower lotioned down and put on a yellow shirt, black skinny jeans, and my thunder 14s. I covered my skin in some Rihanna perfume. God it smelled so damn good. I got my keychain, phone, keys and money and stuffed it in my pocket as I walked to Christens house. "Took you long enough Ri"

"My bad, gotta freshen up" I looked her down. She looked beautiful "great minds think alike"

She had on her wolf grey 14's and a grey shirt with jeans.

"😂😂 yes with your fine ass."

No lie she had me blushing. I laughed back.

We decided to go to Red Robin. the car ride wasn't to bad. didn't say to much but it was all good. I think I saw Lialle in my car. Probably headed home. Fucking dumbass.

When we got to the restaurant it was packed. We ended up waiting for 20 minutes to get a table.

We had good conversations. On food, people, school, and JD and Lialle. It seemed like Lialle and I were official but we weren't... It would be nice though. Speaking of Liae she had called me. I was gonna ignore her like she did me.

"Aren't you going to answer your phone Ri?"

"Nah. It's just Lialle she'll be good."

she started laughing and I turned my phone off because I knew that was one of MANY calls.

Chrissy and I had a blast. I gave her a nickname and everything. I swear over that short amount of time I started Liking her a lot. She probably couldn't even tell I was digging her.

"Ri that was fun as hell!"

"Sure was! shit We should've been done that"

"Right! Next weekend and the weekends after that😂😂"

"Deal!" I was looking forward to that. But what about JD like damn. She forgot about her ass that quick.

"Whatcha wanna do now Ri?"

"It's up to you."

"Let's go to my house. I wanna watch a scary movie!"

"Aww damn you gone be screaming and everything. I gotchu though"

"Shut up"

Indeed she was screaming at everything. Shit was too funny. The movie won't even all that scary. i take that back, this shit is getting scary as fuck. I scooted over to Christen, she wasn't to far but I couldn't take the movie. she hid her head in my neck and her breathing was tickling me. It was also turning me on 😩. I covered my eyes and my ears. "Who's the baby now?"

"This shit is scary. Remind me not to let you pick the movie next time"

The movie went off and I forgot all about my phone. It was now 4:00 in the a.m. when I turned my phone on I had all sorts of calls and texts from Lialle. Oh shit I forgot about her. She was saying stuff like "where are you" "answer your fucking phone" "Nai im not damnit playing with you" this was funny. all of a sudden she wanted to text back and shit.

"Ri I'm sleepy now"

"You can go to sleep, I should go home now anyway.."

"Noooo don't go. The movie got me scared now. might as well stay.."

"Yeah you right."

She stretched her legs out on me as if I wasn't there which was funny. She still had her face in my neck. It was as if I had picked her up and sat down. in no time she was knocked out. I just took a minute looking at how pretty she was. it was crazy! It seemed like we had gotten so close in one night. Man oh man

I woke up at 12. Christen was already up apparently. I guess she went to get dressed or something. We'd be late to school but at least I'd get there in time for 4th period. I went home and got dressed. Today's attire was simple. We didn't have much of this school shut left anyways so I wasn't trying to be all cute. I put on a Nike pullover hoodie some Nike joggers and my venomenom kobes. I ate breakfast fast and flat ironed my hair and then put in a ponytail. all of a sudden I heard somebody saying "hello" .. It was Christen 😍. I replayed the events that took place last night. "Goodmorning gorgeous" I said laughing. "GOODMORNING love. I swear you stay in my closet. what's up witchu matching me all the time?" "you tell me! What's up?"

"Come on so we can get to school. I see your car isn't outside 😂😂😂."

"I'm glad your laughing! But yeah come on."

Lialle and I were going to have a big ass argument. I planned on leaving 4th period earlier so I could take my car home. Lialle could go walk wherever she was going and go get her own damn car. I wondered why she wasn't with JD but that wasn't my business's 🐸☕️. When we got to school I spotted my car right away. Nobody was in it. No scratches or nothing. we only had 2 hours of school left. so I'd be there for an hour and then go home.

An hour went by fast. Lialle must've slipped or went with someone else because my car was still there. I wasted No time and drove back home. I stopped at Zaxbys first and got some boneless wings. "MOM I MISSED YOU!"

"I know sweetheart, I missed you too. but we're leaving later tonight. She's sick Na'riyah.." I could tell she was about to cry. "well be back when school is over so you can come back with us for the summer"

I couldn't believe it. I was starting to cry. My aunt always made sure I was okay and always sent money even though I didn't really need it. I was like her favorite and I didn't see her as much as I could've! it might be too late by time I get up there.. "Wh.. Where's Dad?" "He didn't leave. he stayed with your brother and sister. I just came to get more clothes."

"What about school?"

"I've contacted their teachers and got that situated."

I couldn't. I would be crying for the rest of the night.. everytime a problem came up, I would cry about that and anything else that was a problem so I couldn't cry about it later.

"I know it's gonna stress you a little, but don't worry about it Na'riyah. Asa matter of fact you can drive up there if you want."

"Ok."

My mom had left and hour ago. It wasn't even evening but she had more stuff to handle down here. I was beyond stressed. Everything that bothered me was adding up. Then Lialle walked in.

"Nai what's wrong? Why you look so bothered?"

"Look at you popping up all of a sudden. You took my car and didn't even answer your calls or your texts. now you wondering what's wrong?"

"Don't start this shit."

"How bout you get the fuck out then!!"

I said it with so much anger. I'd regret it later but I don't care right now.

Lialle came over and slapped me. I mean like damn I'm not a fucking nigga. That shit Hurt like hell!

"Nai don't you EVER say some stupid shit like that again. I told you im done with her. I've been done with her."

"Pathetic ass." And with that I left. Tears were rolling down my face. I didn't know where I was going but I was going somewhere. I had my music blasting and everything.
