*Pov* Terence
I sat smushed in the back of Jade's truck. Because it was the day, we couldn't ride in the bed of the truck anymore, so we all had to cram into the seats. I was stuck between Violet and Lin.
"Isn't this great?" Jade laughed, smirking at me in the rearview mirror.
"Sure," I replied, having tucked my arms into my chest to keep myself as compacted as possible.
"At least your not in between Crofty and Amora." Lin smiled at me. Ryanne glared at her from her window seat up front, being squashed by Jae.
"You don't have someone sitting on their lap!" Crofton blushed as Amora sat in his lap.
"Sorry! Lack of space," Amora said with a chuckle.
"It's fine." Crofton blushed brightly, he chuckled and peeked around her.
"Something bugging you?" Lin asked me.
"Guess I just miss my jacket," I muttered.
"But you got Jade's!" She laughed.
"Yeah... Yeah I guess." I crossed my arms.
"That's nice of him." Lin nodded. I nodded again. I really wanted my old jacket back. "You know, Jade's a nice guy when he puts his mind to it."
"Yeah. I know." I shifted slightly in my seat.
"Mugs?" Lin asked randomly. "Why mugs?"
"Huh?" I looked at her, along with Violet and Amora.
"A teacher ghost." Lin muttered. "He wants us to find a missing mug."
"Mug... of all the things."
"A mug," Lin chuckled. "A mug out of the entire school. Someone stole his."
"So we're stealing a mug?" I asked.
"From a teacher." Lin shrugged. "She never gave it back."
".................................................. Mugs?" Amora asked.
"A mug." Lin shrugged. "It's a mug. We need to bring it to his grave."
"Why a mug?"
"He loved the mug, his wife gave it to him before she died."
"Alright, I guess that makes sense," she said, crossing her arms.
"Why not go and do this!?" Lin grinned.
"Which teacher is it?" I asked.
"Mrs. Fall."
"I have her for science," I said.
"Does she drink from a mug?" Lin asked.
"Yeah, a red one," I answered.
"That's it!" Lin sighed. "Another Case."
"One that is way less dark than the last one," Violet said. She paused. "Hey. do you think this guy can get us some more info on Andy?"
"Maybe, he was watching him."
"Then let's make a deal," Violet said. "We trade the mug for another clue."
"That's how it works." Lin smiled.
"Sweet." Violet looked over at me. "You're on duty." I nodded.
"How hard can stealing a stolen mug be?" I asked. "Way easier than proving murder."
"You'd be surprised." Lin shrugged.
"I mean, all we have to do is spike her drink and knock her out so we can-"
