"Mom?" Melody asks with worried in her voice because she probably isn't sober

"Uh mom we where just talking about you, come in" Jess says and invites Rebecca inside

"All good things i hope, so this is where you are staying at" Rebecca says while walking in the house and looking around and seeing the living room and kitchen

"Uh yeah we also live with Mel's two friends Erick and Maeve" Jess says while sitting down on the couch next to Kaylee who was sitting on the couch too

"Hey mom can i talk to you outside?" Melody ask her mom making her way towards the backyard

"Yeah sure honey" Rebecca says following mel outside

"What are you doing here mother?" I ask my mom

"What i can't visit my daughter's who i haven't seen in months" Rebecca answers Melody while sitting down on a chair that was outside so people can sit and hangout outside

"You only visit when you want something, what is it this time money, more alcohol" Melody says getting somewhat frustrated with her mother

"No i don't want an alcohol, in fact I'm sober now and i dont want your money Melody" Rebecca tells her daughter

"Mhmm for how long" Melody says to her knowing Rebecca is just going to start drinking again

"Actually i been going to AA meeting for my drinking Mel, i been sober for two months now so you can stop worrying. Also I'm hear to apologize to you, i know it will take some time for you to for give me but i truly am sorry for abusing you mentally and physically when you where younger" Rebecca says while walking back inside leaving Melody to think.

"Hey, you okay?" Kaylee asks her girlfriend once she seen Melody walk inside

"Yeah i am" Melody tells her girlfriend while sitting down with kaylee, Jess and her mother

"By the way not to be rude but who are you?" Rebecca asks pointing at Kaylee

"Mom this is Kaylee, my girlfriend" Melody tells her mother

"Well nice to meet you Kaylee i hope you are making my daughter happy" Rebecca says to Kaylee

"Nice to meet you too Mrs. Lopez, and i am making her happy because she tells me i am, and she makes me happy to" Kaylee says while smiling at Melody

"Oh please kaylee call me Rebecca or Becca" Rebecca says when walking towards the stairs that leads to the bedrooms

"Where you going mom?" Jess asks her mother seeing rebecca heading towards the stairs

"To bed I'm exhausted goodnight girls" Rebecca answers and the girls all reply with a goodnight

"I should head home too it's late and we have work tomorrow, goodnight" kaylee says while getting up from the couch and walking towards the front door with Jessica walking up the stairs to her room shouting night to kaylee

"Okay goodnight babe, I'll see you tomorrow at work" Melody says kissing Kaylee's cheek

As soon as Kaylee drives off home Melody makes her way to her room and gets ready for bed and she gets a text from her girlfriend saying she is home, Melody respond with an okay goodnight.

Melody has a hard time falling asleep because she can't stop thinking about if she should forgive her mother or not, if her mother is really sober and going to AA meetings and if her mother's apology was real or not. Eventually Melody fell asleep due to being really tired.
