Chapter 24

Melody's pov (when Kaylee picked her up and they are in the car going to the arcade)

"So where are we going?" I asked Kaylee as she is driving to our destination

"You'll see when we get there" Kaylee replies me

"I know you've never been to main event so I thought I'd bring you here" Kaylee says to me

"Well thank you for taking me here baby" I say to her, kissing her on the cheek

We get our wrist bands and cards that has credits to play the arcade games and make our way to games

"Oo babe wanna play Mario Kart?" I ask Kaylee

"Yea but be prepared to lose" Kaylee tells me as we sit down to set up the game to play it

"Oh yeah let's see about that" I say to her

I won on that game but it was about 50/50 on the arcade and bowling and now we are going somewhere to eat and I have no idea where

(Time skip to them at the restaurant)

"How did you remember Italian food is my favorite" I say to Kaylee a little bit shocked

"I know everything about you duh" Kaylee says as we get seated

Our waitress comes up and asks us what we would be like to drink and if we wanted any appetizers. We both got our drinks and we got mozzarella sticks.

"So how did you like main event baby?" Kaylee asks me

"I loved it. The games were fun, the bowling was fun especially since I kicked your ass in bowling, then the pool" I tell her with a big smile on my face

"Yea well I kicked your ass in laser tag so" Kaylee said with a cheeky smirk.

"Yea well I suck at laser tag" I said laughing which made Kaylee start laughing

Our waitress came up to us and took our order, both me and Kaylee got a pasta dish. We got our food a few minutes later then we ate and talked as we go to pay for our food, I should "wait I want dessert babe!"

Kaylee smiles and says "can we get a chocolate lava cake?" The waitress smiles almost as if she's pleased "Yes you may" she says.

I smile and give Kaylee a kiss on the forehead whispering "Thank you baby" Kaylee giggles and whispers back "You're welcome"

As we wait for our food, Kaylee stares into my eyes, I feel my face get red and my heart start racing. Quietly I say "what's wrong baby?" Kaylee responds "nothing I was just admiring how beautiful you are." As my heart speeds up I feel a tension in my chest it feels almost as if I was floating, I look into her eyes and say "I love you"

After We eat the cake we walk up to the counter and pay for the meal. I say "it was a fun day thank you!" Kaylee says "anytime thank you for coming with me"

Kaylee dropped me off at home we said our goodbyes and yes we did kiss. I walk in and went to my room(Maeve and Erick wasn't home)

"Hey how was it?" Jess asked me coming into my room

"Kaylee took me to main event, we had a blast. We even went out to eat." I told Jess sitting down on my bed

"Aww that's nice I'm glad you had fun you deserve it sis" Jess says to me sitting down next to me on my bed

"Aw thank you and you deserve to be happy too. You and Quincy would make an adorable couple" I say

"We would be a cute couple but he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet" Jess tells me

"He will eventually especially since he likes you a lot" I tell her while I turn on Hulu to watch kyle xy

3rd person's pov(short)

Jess and Melody ended up falling asleep to kyle xy. Thankfully Melody remembers what episode they left off on.

Kaylee went home with a smile on her face thinking about her date with Melody. Kaylee can't wait to talk about it with Danielle since they are best friends. She Fell asleep thinking about Melody
