Friday is finally here, I'm dressed for school and ready for the day ahead. I have my backpack for school, my sleepover bag that I prepared last night and I'm literally jumping out of my skin from the excitement of what tonight may bring. Most people will probably consider me sad for getting excited over so little, but this is my first party and the first time I've truly dressed to impress.
"Morning Boo!" Sydney calls from behind me at the school entrance. I turn to face her with my biggest smile. "morning B!" I say and she throws herself at me with a huge hug. Yes like most best friend we have nicknames for ourselves. "Ready for tonight?" She squeaks from the excitement she can barley contain. "Sure am, lessons haven't even started and I can't wait for school to end!" I say in response matching her excitement. "Tell me about it, lets get this over and done with and then, lets PARTYYYY!!!" She shout whispers, dancing circles around me. We both head inside to get to our first lesson giggling the whole way and our peers look at us like we are crazy but I don't care, not today.
I'm sitting in class and time seems to be going extra slow in my usually favourite lesson (English History), but today it just bores me and I just want it to end. Isn't it funny how school never seems to end when you have plans? For me everyday was the same, I had the Monday blues like everyone else but other than that, school was just a normal day for me. Now that I have something to look forward to, it feels like it's dragging on forever and we haven't even had our lunch break yet. Will this day ever end?
Finally the bell rings and the whole class including myself, rushes out like a mob to get to the cafeteria. I get myself a tray and get in line, slowly choosing my food. Once I was done I headed out to eat in the courtyard, looking for my friends but as soon as I came out the doors I am drenched in cold water and from the shock I dropped my try of food to the floor. Great! Now I have to skip lunch and I'm soaking wet. Some prick through a bucket of water from the second floor of the building and when I look up to see who it was, it was Liam and my brothers laughing hysterically.
I was livid, embarrassed and pissed that my brothers were involved too. I try really hard to hide my emotions and I flip them off with my middle finger and smile. I walk away as if I'm not that bothered by what they just did, but inside I was raging and already plotting my revenge. A lot of people were laughing, giggling and gossiping but to be honest, although I was drenched from head to toe, I really didn't care because I knew with all certainty that soon enough they will be laughing about something else.
