I quickly unwrapped the paper and sat on the bed. I proceeded to read the letter.

Dear Dodo,

I hope you good. I hear you married to Saha. I happy you get your ideal wife. Even though you married to Saha, I will forever remain loyal to you, love. I remember our first encounter...it was beautiful. I remember those 'fun games' with you. That indeed was something.

But I have to go now. Pick up our son Aino from school and keep him under your wings. I know I will never be able to be a protective and loving mother, and I can never forgive myself for that.

Remember, we kept our son's name 'Aino' because we aimed to grow him a someone unique? At least, fulfil this dream of mine. I'm sure I'll see my son at the top, even if I'm not there with him at the right moment.

It's time for me to leave, Dodo. You'll forever be the only piece to keep my heart beating, the only soul to keep me living and the only oxygen to keep me breathing.

I quickly put the paper under my wings and got out of the house. I flapped my wings harshly and tried my best to fly as fast as possible.

I finally reached the house where Tweety and I used to live together. I got into the house and searched all over the house.

"Tweety! Darling where are you!" I shouted in every room.

I searched each and every inch of the house. I found him nowhere...

On the other hand, Aino, our son was crying out loud.

I walked to Aino and sat beside him, taking him on my lap.

"Dad is here, son. Dad came back," I mumbled as I tried my best to keep my tears away.

Son, you are Dodo's son. I, your father, will forever protect you.
