After 5 years"Dad! Dad! Can I go and play outside? Please?"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes dad!"
"Okay, then take care—"
"Yayy! Bye dad!"
"Hey wait! Make sure you come back in the afternoon!"
"Don't worry dad! I'll be back!"
I nodded in relief. My son has grown so much. 5 years have passed within no time. I didn't even realise what we had gone through.
Aino has gone outside. Now I actually don't have anything to do. I've prepared his food for the afternoon, and I've also brought a few worms for dinner. That's more than enough for two of us.
I looked outside the window and watched my son. He is so playful, isn't he? He looks really happy. He and his friends are playing 'tug of war' with a long leaf stem.
It looks as if it's a 'Girls VS Boys' competition. One of the sides, girls are pulling the stem, and on the other side, Aino and his friends are pulling the stem. Both sides have equal number of competitors.
It's indeed a nice game! What have I even done in my childhood! Mom would spank me with a stinky fish if I ever went outside and played all around! But I won't let that happen to my son. I'll let him create his childhood the way he wants.
The game was getting fiercer every time they pulled. None of the teams gave up on their sides. Both the teams were playing with all their power!
My rang from the room. I was about to go and get it but it was just a missed call. Maybe it's a wrong number. That's when I heard something.
"Aino! It's not time for romance! Come to your senses!"
"Shut up! She thinks she's too clever? I'll show her who's the clever one here!" Aino's voice was perceptible.
I quickly looked back outside the window and saw something which I really haven't expected to see.
Aino and one of the girls were right at the middle of the stem, holding it. They had their foreheads put against one other's. They had their claws clenched hard and the fury in their eyes.
Has he gone mad?! It's dangerous! What if they start up a real fight?
Should I call him? Or just let him handle all these by himself?
No. He needs to have experiences. I can't spoil him like this. He must learn to handle situations like this or else he'll suffer as he grows up.
I just watched how each of them reacted to the situation. The boys were excited and wanted them to fight. On the other hand, the girls have already started those 'love gossips'. Seriously? They're minds are so into bawdy matters.
At a point, the situation really got serious. Aino and the girl in front of him applied their full force, but the girl pulled it way to hard.
"Oh God! You dirty crap!" The girls shouted as the boys abruptly fell over the girls due to the force of the pull.
Where's Aino? Everyone searched for him.
"Guys! I'm f-fine," Aino spoke from below.
He was carrying that girl in his claws and flying.
"This shit was about to die, I saved her," Aino said.
Why's he so rude?
"Go, take your friend home. She hurt her wings," Aino said as he handed over that girl to her friends.
"Aww! It was so nice of you, Aino!" The girls exclaimed.
"Eww. I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to go to jail because of her that's why I bothered to pick her up. Now get lost," Aino snapped.
The boys teased him regarding this incident.
Hmm, my son seems to be getting involved into some love story.
