Today, I find my own future. Just a few more hours. Everything's going to change. I can see my bright and successful future.

Saha! Oh my Saha! Where are you? I can't wait to see you! I can't wait anymore! How long do I have to wait to see you? How long do I have to wait to feel your skin? How long do I have to wait to share your breath? Oh! Control Dodo, control! Live the Dodo way of life!

I wonder what Tweety s doing right now. He must be spending time with Aino. Well, I think I should've brought Aino along with me.
Oh no! That would be a great mistake! What would I tell mom if she asked and what would Saha even think! No no, I took the best decision by not bringing Aino here. It would just create a scandalous situation.

But I'm happy that I'm getting married to Saha today. It means, Saha is going to be mine, bot Zozo's. Zozo thinks he's too smart, but not smarter than me, huh! It's because, I am the Dodo, who lives the Dodo way of life!

Mom was right beside me. Her phone rang.

"Oh my! My daughter-in-law called me, ah!" Mom exclaimed, staring at the phone. She picked up the call.

"Hello my child! How are you?" Mom said.

"I-i am f-fine," I heard Saha saying these over the phone.

Why does she talk so slowly?

"That is indeed great my child! How are you feeling for today?" Mom asked.

"Good," again a slow and liw voice spoke out.

"You must get ready soon, child. We'll be at the destination at 3 pm, okay?" Mom said.

"Ok," Saha spoke.

Call ended.

"Mom," I called.

"Yes, my son?"

"Why does Saha talk so slowly? Her voice sounds pretty low," I asked.

Mom came to me, smiling.

"Son, today is Saha's marriage. She's going to leave her family behind and be yours forever. Of course she feels a bit sad. But she's gonna be alright once she gets used to the lifestyle," Mom assured.

Well, that's a matter of fact. Maybe I'm just thinking too much cuz I'm too excited. Saha must be feeling a little down. But I'll give away my soul to protect her, to keep her under happiness.

I feel bored. I've got nothing to do right now. It's just 10am. And the program is at 3pm. Still 6 more hours to go.

Lemme call Zozo and flex a bit.

Ringing...

"Hey man!" I said.

"What do you want?" Zozo said.

"Hey hey chillax. I've got a few words you know," I said.

"What."

"Actually I felt really bad for you. I thought about it. I don't deserve Saha, but you do. You guys have known each other for long, but I'm scared I won't be able to fulfil her wishes. That's why I thought, if you come to the wedding today, I'll hand her over to you," I said.

I'm so smart, wow.

"I just chatted with Saha, you dumb sciolist," Zozo said with annoyance.

"I'm pretty sure she's just playing around with you. Saha called my mom 2 mins ago and informed that she'll be at the place at 3," I informed.

Zozo didn't say anything.

"Anyways, I'm getting late. I need to get ready," I said.

"I thought you're gonna had me Saha at the program. What are you getting ready for?" Zozo asked.

"I wanted to sacrifice my love just for you, but you didn't seem to see as a humble offer, so why should I give you more offers? Is this a sale or something?" I lectured.

"No. It's because the program is at 3, and it's 10:05 am now," Zozo said.

"You don't need to teach me time, I'm educated enough to know all these. In fact, I know more than you," I explained.

"Then tell me, why do female human beings hate cockroaches," Zozo asked.

"Cuz they don't really have a cock for real, but named themselves as 'cock'- roaches. And girls hate fake stuff," I said proudly, trying to sound extremely knowledgeable.

"No, it's because they're disgusted," Zozo said.

"How are you so sure?" I asked back.

"It's because they do have a cock of their own," Zozo said.

"Oh really? Name it," I challenged him.

"Pseudopenis," Zozo said.

"Okay enough education. I'm happy with my Cloaca. Meudopenis, Feudopenis, whatever it is, not my business. Bye," I said and ended the call.

What does he think of himself? He's educated? Smart? Intelligent? Does he even have any degrees? Bitchass.

2:50 pm

Soft music is playing in the silence of the hall. The smooth vibrating tone reached my ears. What a feeling, ah... Just waiting for the moment, where Saha and I'll have the most memorable moment today. The moment, when our hearts will meet. The moment, when our eyes will talk...

People are starting to come into the hall now. I shook hands with my relatives and they congratulated me and wished best regards for my wedding.

Gradually the hall was full. Guests were bustling around, gossiping and taking pictures.

Suddenly the microphone was turned on.

"Good afternoon, our honourable guests," the person with the mic spoke delightfully.

All the guests stopped at their places and payed attention.

"Please take your seats as soon as possible. The bride is about to arrive," it was announced.

I was surprised and excited at the words. I could feel my heart pounding. Finally...

"Our humble request to the bridegroom, please come on stage to prepare yourself to hold the bride," the person requested.

I smiled at him. As soon as I was about to move for the stage, I noticed Zozo sitting on a chair with a blank expression, checking his phone every 3 seconds. I smirked, and walked to the stage.

Tadadadada daddada daddada!

The sound of drums were heard. Saha has arrived.

Saha's cousins have covered her from all sides so that I can't see her right away. They stopped at the staircase of the stage.

"We request the bridegroom to receive his bride and bring her on stage," they announced.

I went to the staircase, forwarding my right wing to hold Saha. Her cousins moved away and I felt Saha's wing taking hold of mine.

I slowly raised my head and opened my eyes.
