I didn't much have anything to do today so I decided to just stay in bed all day. It was UP fair week but our professors gave so much homeworks, buti nalang ginawa ko na agad sa school during freecut.
I was on my laptop, watching a series on Netflix when my phone suddenly lit. I got a text message notification.

Where are you?
House. Why?
Go fix yourself I'll pick u up in a few
What?! Where are we going? Bakit biglaan?
UP Fair Go fix yourself na
Wala akong ticket!!! I didn't buy Bakit kasi ngayon ka lang nagsabi
I got us tickets na! Stop texting now, Kermina! I'm driving. Bilisan mo na.
Wow. Ang bossy ha.
I closed my laptop and made my way to the bathroom to have a quick shower, I didn't want to smell like a bed. Hindi pa man ako nagugustuhan ni Juan baka ayawan na ako agad.
"Camille," I heard our helper knocking on my room's door while calling my name. "May sundo ka sa baba."
"Opo, Manang! Pababa na rin po ako." I shouted then I quickly tied my hair in a messy bun.
"Hey," I called Juan's attention when I came in the receiving area.
"Hi," he said, kissing my cheek. "Ready?"
I nodded. "Yup."
"Let's go." then he guided me to where he parked his car.
"Bakit biglaan naman ata 'tong UP fair natin." I said when we got inside his car. "Magkasama naman tayo kaninang umaga sa school 'di mo naman sinabi."
"I didn't know that Ben&Ben is part of tonight's line-up eh." he answered. "It's your favorite local band."
I smiled. "How did you know that?"
He smiled back at me. "I also notice those little things, Kermina."
I just shook my head. Ang dami niyang alam!
There were already alot of people when we reached Sunken Garden. Yung iba busy sa pagkain, yung iba naman picture ng picture with their friends at yung iba naman sumasabay sa pagkanta dun sa bandang nagpeperform sa harap. Ang sarap nilang tingnan.
"Thanks for inviting me, Juany." I sincerely said to him. "This is my first UP fair."
His forehead creased. "For real? You didn't attend UP fair when you were in high school?"
