| Heights Alliance |
THE light of day shone down on the common room of Heights Alliance, awakening every student in their slumber.
Class 1-A did the usual - they ate, took a bath, got dressed, and brushed their teeth. Some were also yelling, watching, or mostly dying inside.
All that but back to the main focus of these events. Izuku was more than relieved to never hear those knocks again, at least, for now. He just needed the rest and now he's completely fine.
There was nothing wrong with him after all but he would still definitely get his ears checked. He feared how Mina's screeching at night might have damaged his ears a little too much. Not to mention how much his body has been thrown around numerous times by all kinds of villains.
"Midoriya, are you okay?" Shoto looked over at the boy, who snapped out of his thoughts. It was the four of them walking through U.A.'s hallways, "You look pale."
"Deku, should we go see Recovery Girl? Class won't start right away, let's get you there." Ochaco suggested, earning a nod from the green-haired girl beside her.
"N..No! I'm fine, really. But thanks." Izuku eased, scratching his nape with a spurious smile.
"You don't look fine to me."
"Just got a little into thinking. Don't worry about me."
"Are you sure?"
"...Definitely!"
Reaching the room, class started after a few minutes. Shota Aizawa was doing the typical homeroom greetings, elucidating all the things the students needed to know.
Izuku would usually sit up straight while listening but today, he looked uninterested. Constantly tapping his pen, with his chin rested on his palm while boredom was imprinted on his face.
Rapidly pressing the pen, he can't help but think of last night. But what happened didn't scare him the most, what scared him was that he was absolutely clueless about himself.
In these kinds of things, he can only assume that it would probably shake him a little bit, unconsciously giving obvious signs to everyone. He'd be stuttering, crying, or he'd be open about it.
He felt empty and fragile.
"-Midoriya!" Shota called out, his eyes glowing red with his hair levitating in the air, "You've been too noisy, are you even listening to what I'm saying?"
Izuku got out of his trance and looked passively at each of his classmates' worried faces and then at his homeroom teacher. Is there something wrong with him?
"I'm l-listening! It's loud and clear, Mr. Aizawa!" Izuku stood up frantically and shouted his reply. His voice felt so utterly bewildered and forced.
Now, after almost a whole year with these trouble magnets, Shouta had that same feeling he had with every other problem child in his classroom. It seemed like there was something he wasn't informed of and then seeing everyone so shocked about it doubled his suspicions. There was a solo problem Izuku was facing alone.
No matter how much he would probably try to ask Izuku anything, he'd be shielded from the truth.
Even so, Shouta can't quite put his finger on the topic yet. He has to observe whatever happens first, hopefully, he wouldn't be too late. "Very well. Next time you don't pay attention, you'll be more than just called out, Midoriya. Anyways, as I was saying..."
The day had gone forward ever so quickly without anyone noticing. For the students of Class 1-A, Mondays meant there was no hero training, prolonging the normal boring classes. It sucked badly.
Classes were dismissed and everyone had gotten ready to head back to Heights Alliance. Before the two close friends of Izuku could even invite their friend to hang out, he was already nowhere in the room.
It just brought up questions to the entire class. Last night, he heard knocks on the door and now he looked like he was running a marathon just by listening to their homeroom teacher.
Ochaco's brows got heavier, pouting, "Deku's been acting strange recently. I sure hope he's alright..."
They wanted to talk to him but he would always tell them that there was nothing to worry about. A typical thing for him to do.
They wanted to listen and be there for him. Three of his closest friends were going to search for him but Aizawa came into the scene, telling them to not bother for now. He probably needed some space.
But even so, sooner or later, they will check on him.

"Your ears are clean and well, there's absolutely nothing for you to worry about, sonny." Recovery Girl informed, fixing up her medical pieces of equipment.
"Are you sure? It's not that I doubt your skills but- there's this thing, I've been hearing things... that others don't." Izuku reached his hand out, timorous of his situation, "Is... Is it a mental thing? I'm fine, right? I'm not going crazy, am I?"
The old woman only sighed, "I want to help but I'm more of a doctor of someone physically rather than the other. Have you talked about this with anyone else?"
"Uhm... No.."
"Then you should, your head may be tired or something. Healing starts with the mind so I can advise you to talk with your classmates more. It could take you off of things. A crippling mind will only make things more terrible." She continued and pointed to a map pinned to her wall, "If things get worse, then go seek a therapist."
"T-Thank you, Recovery Girl..."
Izuku clutched his shirt before closing the door shut. Even with just a one-night experience, he was a little weary of sleeping alone for the night.
Doors closed, Recovery Girl couldn't help but pity the young man. He's been going through a lot recently, and now she learns that Izuku was having these things. She almost felt like there would be a second episode of it all, yet she can't do much about it.
But she knew. Even if they weren't the closest of acquaintances besides both being under the name of U.A. High, she had to inform this to the boy's homeroom teacher and All Might for reasons only a few knows.
Almost anything that involved Izuku Midoriya getting in trouble inside or outside was going to get most of U.A.'s Staff shaken.
There was something special about the child. Always being the center of every incident and that's why...
...They have to make sure Izuku was doing alright.
