One shot: #2- Stay by His Side

I observe the sleeping vampire silently while leaning next to him. He's so peaceful, a bit TOO peaceful, which is that's why...
I really want to ruin his sleep!
Without thinking, I poke his cheeks quickly and expect that he's going to scold me or something. However, he doesn't move even one bit.

Umm... what should I do?

Oh! I'm sure this is going to work! I'll just pull out his earphones then!
'I'm sure this will ruin his precious sleep...'

Why would I have such thoughts? Why would I want to ruin the vampire's sleep...?

I don't think that much, as if my body's moving on it's own, I reach out my hand to the cable near his neck, but I accidentally touch his neck.

Oh my... why is his skin so smooth?!
I... somehow I want to touch him more.

Instead of removing his earphones from his ears, I start touching him.
I caress his cheeks carefully... wow, so cold?!
I brush my thumbs on his cheeks as I smile, "Shu~"
His skin is icy cold however, it's as smooth as silk. I then stretch his cheeks playfully while feeling the smoothness of his porcelain-like skin.

"Shuuuuuu~"

He grunts.

Oh, a reaction from him!

He then opens an eye, "what do you want?" he says as if he's annoyed. Oh well, of course he is.

"I just want to ruin your sleep!" I answer him mischievously as I show him my phone.
"See what photo I just took...? Hehehe... you look so cute with your cheeks being stretched like that!Ahahaha!" I'm laughing while suddenly, he pulls my hand and my weak body bumps into his chest.

Without a second, my phone is snatched by an icy cold hand.
"W-wait...!" I desperately try to grab it back, "done." He says callously while he gives me back my phone.

I pout and sigh as the adorable photo I just took was deleted...
"No..."
I try to get up when I realize the vampire's arm is pressing my back onto him tightly.

"Shu?" I ask as I look up to observe his expression.

Those charming sapphires are looking at me with a slight of gentleness, but also sparkling with a slight of danger. The corner of his mouth is slightly curved,
Is that a smile? Or... is that a smirk? 

My body shakes a bit as I feel a sense of sensation from my back. An arm is slowly moving up from my back, while fingers are tracing through the back of my neck, my hair, then...

I shut my eyes as I suddenly feel scared.
Shu, he is a vampire after all.
What would he do to me? What if he purely wants my blood while I love him with all my heart?

He looked lazy and carefree when I tried to make fun of him just a while ago, I completely let my guard down when deep inside my heart, I know that he's dangerous.

Although those thoughts keep coming to my mind, I still can't deny that I love him, I love him so much that even if he doesn't have the same feelings, I want to grant all the wishes he wants.

I open my eyes slightly when he pats my head.
"Shu...?"

The dangerous vampire in front of me, pulls me towards him more as his head is moving to my neck.

I shiver again as I feel something sharp and dangerous brushing my neck.

I could try to run away, I could leave him in the first place, I could leave him alone instead of ruining his sleep, but why, why did I engage with him when I know things like this would happen? When I know the one I'm encountering is a dangerous vampire?

It's simple, it's because I...

His fangs sink into the human flesh of mine.

I only want...

He's gulping hungrily while I feel like I'm going to pass out soon, but I don't care. I smile as my hands go through his fluffy hair.

I only want to...

He keeps drinking...
I press his head onto me even more.
As if Shu's a little child, I caress his head with both of my palms softly, like patting a child's head...
I don't care what he thinks of me, be it a prey or not, all of those doesn't matter because...

I only want to stay by his side.
