I was now decked out in Patrick's clothes playing one of his songs with my band that looked like the more comical members of fall out boy. Nate had loads of eyeliner on which Pete had ordered him not to take off until after we did our version of them at the show tomorrow. Kevin had on a huge fake nose and Blake had on glasses and a fake red clown wig. we were all wearing their clothes which everyone seemed to fit fine into but me. let's face it, I am a tiny little woman a few inches shorter than Patrick, maybe three at best, I just looked like a little kid playing dress up. Amelia laughed at us as she sat in front of us with Fall Out Boy.

once we were done playing the song, I knew what came next, the guys got up and took their stuff away from us like we were imposters, they were then supposed to chase us off the stage.

"everyone got this?" Pete asked and we all agreed. "okay, Amelia, front and center to explain what's going on." she stood up with a sheet of paper and the rest of us sat in front of her and listened.

"tomorrow at about noon fall out boy and I will start setting up the stage. Astoria, you don't have to be here until about five. Astoria, you will arrive in normal clothes and bring your bags of costumes with you, Paige, I actually picked out some stage clothes for you if you're okay with that?" she asked and I nodded trusting her judgement. "after the second's band 'The Line Is Dead's third song, Astoria, you will be changing into your fall out boy gear in the back of the vans.

"our van is still going to have some stuff in it, very breakable items." Kevin said without giving anything away but making Pete look at him funny.

"then you all have to get dressed in the same van, there won't be enough time to take turns. then you go on after 'The Line Is Dead' as fall out boy. after that you return you return to me by the vans as Fall out boy does their set and get changed into your normal clothes and practice. Paige, you need to a lot me at least five minutes for your make up then possibly five more for vocal warm ups." she said. wow, she's getting pretty technical about all this. "I will be giving you guys a heads up when all these changes happen and let you know how long you have."

"so who are you?" Blake asked

"she's my best friend, and evidently now a damned good band manager." I laughed. "thanks Amelia, I think we all got it." I said we all started goofing off together and doing pur own thing, some how Patrick and I began singing together making the whole room interested. we sang one song off of the CDs Patrick gave to me called 'Pretty in Punk' Pete watched me the whole time with this weird look on his face it was kind of like he was looking at me in some sort of loving daze.

I admit we all shouldn't of been screwing around, but this kind of helped us relax before the hectic show tomorrow night. I just felt comfortable being around friends.

"listen up chicks and dudes!" Pete yelled as he stood on a chair addressing the whole room before we left. "tomorrow is going to be huge, and were really glad we have a band to stand beside us, and were super glad to get the chance to stand beside them at their first show!" the whole room broke out in yells of excitement. "to all of us, break a leg, just not literally!" we all cheered again. Patrick drove me home but it was mostly silent, but it was a good reflective kind of silence. I took in the quiet and peace knowing the wild crazy, noisy day that was a head of me tomorrow, hopefully it went well. my first show.

I woke up around nine and left a note for my parents telling them I would be staying at Amelia's tonight, or so the note said. I got dressed in the clothes Amelia had provided for me for tonight which were chucks, black skinny jeans and a white v-neck shirt, simple, but better than my nerdy ones. I grabbed my guitars, and my costume bag of Patrick's clothes and went to Kevin's house where they were already loading things into a rented van. I stuck my guitars inside and helped carry out a giant net of glowing heart shaped balloons filled with helium then called Amelia.
