A/N- we just finished our bio finals so my teacher let us choose a movie. Of coarse everyone chose a movie that I don't like 😂(I'm not a superhero movie type of person..)

3rd Person POV

Eliza stood in front of the mirror stared at herself. She couldn't believe it was really happening: her only friends, the people who she loved and loved her back, the only people that she could rant to and they would listen, the people that let her be free, we're going to die.

At this point, she wasn't worried about the fact that she was getting married to someone she didn't love. She was only worried about her pirates.

Theodosia stood next to her. Eliza turned to her and frowned.

Eliza- Do you think this is right?

Theodosia- Think What is eight?

Eliza- Killing those pirates?

Theodosia- Well, they did kidnap and hurt you-

Eliza- They didn't hurt me though! Friends wouldn't do that to each other!

Theodosia raised an eyebrow and stared at the girl in front of her. Eliza turned away and stared once more at herself.

Theodosia- Sometimes, Elizabeth, you have to let things go. No matter how much you want to be with them.

Eliza- But they don't deserve to die!

Theodosia- It's only what's right. If I were you, I'd let them die. Now, I'm not saying I agree with it, but it's only for the best. You have to forget about them at some point.

She bowed her head and quickly left. Eliza stood there, thinking about what she just said.

Maybe she was right. Maybe it was time to let them go and forget about them. She has to move on with her life.

She has to focus on the future: she's going to be queen, help her husband rule the land, and raise a family. That's what is important.

Yet, every time she looks in the mirror, she only sees her wearing that pirate clothes, standing next to her friends. She almost never sees the present, only the past. And every time she tried shaking it away, it would only be gone for a certain amount of time before coming back.

And every time, she would try and forget about them, they would only come back in mind.

She didn't need a crown, fancy dresses, or a whole kingdom to worship her. She already had what she needed: her pirates. The people that would always be by her side.

When she was with them, she felt like no star could shine as bright as her. In fact, she never realized what true happiness felt like until she met them.
