Alexander POV

I sat in my office with John, Lafayette, and Hercules. We were trying to come up with ways of getting the necklace off of that brat. Of coarse like the idiots they are, they kept trying to tell me to let her go, but I refuse to. I can't let her go until I get that necklace. And I can't tell anyone about why I need it. Not even you guys, who are reading this. You can't know either.

They kept giving ideas and I wrote them down. I will honestly do anything it takes to get the necklace. I was in the middle of writing down "threaten to feed her to live crocodiles" when a pair of hands covered my paper and took my pen. I looked up and met eyes with Angelica and Peggy. They look at me with pissed eyes. I look down and continue writing, trying to ignore them.

Alexander- What do you need this time?

Angelica- You need to let that poor girl go.

Alexander- And why should I?

Angelica- She's terrified! She's probably crying her eyes out right now in fear!

Peggy- We tried to talk to her and calm her, but she's even scared of us. She barely said a damn word.

Alexander- Not my problem.

Angelica- What has gotten into you? How did you get so cold hearted?

Peggy- I remember when you used to be free-spirited, kind, and loving. What did your father do to you?

Alexander- We don't speak of that man. He was a heartless man who only cared about his job.

Angelica- Do you hear yourself, Hamilton?! You sound just like him! That girl did absolutely nothing to you. All she did was love you! And all you did was trick her, disappoint her, made her believe that you cared about her, kidnapped her, and threatened her!

Alexander- I don't see what the problem is.

I set my quill down and look up, instantly regretting what I said. Angelica cares about people she loves and destroys people who hurt her friends and family. And she was staring right into my soul with the eyes of the devil. I keep on my serious face and stare back at her.

Angelica- Listen Hamilton. You can either turn this boat around and take her home. Or, you can drop this stupid, fucking act and at least try and be nice to her.

Alexander- Why should I be nice to her?

She rolls her eyes and walk out of my office. Peggy turns towards me and glares at me before following her sister. John speaks up.

John- With all due respect, sir, they kinda do have a point. She didn't do anything to you.

Alexander- Shut your mouth now, Laurens, or you loose your job as co-captain.

Hercules- Sir, please. All we ask of you is to just be nicer towards the girl.

Alexander- Don't you even think about joining those girls.

Hercules- We're not saying that we're on their side. We just want you to be just... a bit nicer towards her.

Maria- Hamilton, they have a point. The poor girl lost her family and freedom in just a few minutes.

Lafayette- Tout ce que nous essayons de dire, c'est d'être plus gentil avec elle. Elle est terrifiée et seule.

I ignore them and continue writing down ideas. They sigh and once in a while give me a few ideas. I write as many of them as I can down.

Eliza POV

The sunshine flooded my room as I opened my eyes. I felt myself rock back in forth continuously. I looked around a realized: I'm not in my bedroom. Everything from last night came back into my mind. That stupid, awful, terrible, mean pirate man.
