Ch 28

A/N- It's literally 2 AM when I'm writing this when I have finals at 7:40 and should be sleeping but I can't so guess who's gonna fail? (But it is my band, Algebra, and Biology finals today so I should be good. Except for my bio one cause I suck at it and it's my lowest grade now at an 89%)

3rd Person POV

Alex sat on the bench in the cell and twiddled his fingers. His crew was chatting in the opposite end of the small dungeon.

He started to get worried. Eliza's dad dragged her upstairs and they heard yelling and crying for a few minutes. She hasn't come down, and it was the next day. Alex couldn't handle that. What happened to her? Was she hurt? He was stressing out.

Not to mention that she was engaged and even she didn't know about it. It made him angry how her own father would welcome her back by surprising her with a marriage that she didn't know about.

The door to the dungeon opened up and in came James with a guard. He motioned to the guard, who unlocked the gate and walked towards Hamilton.

Alexander stared up at the guard with no emotion before he got pulled up to his feet and dragged out of the cell. He glared at his crew from over his shoulder who was just a confused at he.

They brought him to a dark, cold room that was at the end of a long hallway. The shut the door after him and placed him on a chair.

Alexander- What do you want?

James- Don't play stupid, Hamilton.

Alexander- I'm not. You are.

James- What?

Alexander- See! You're the idiot. You said what after I said "dummy says what", so gotcha.

James- You never said that.

Alexander- Yeah, But I thought it. And you said it. Therefore, you are a dummy. A stupid head. Hamilton: one. James: zero.

James kicked him out of the chair hard. Alex landed on the floor and groaned.

James- Stop this nonsense! Now, I don't know your feelings for Eliza but-

Alexander- Jeez, we're just friends!

James- Hey! You only talk if I say so!

Alexander- You never said that.

James- Yeah, But I thought it.

James smirked, causing Alex to roll his eyes. He sat up and wrapped his arms around his legs.

James- I'm being serious, Hamilton! I will kill you before the others if-

Alexander- Why?! What did I do?

James- You're a pirate! You hurt my beloved and kissed her!

Alexander- She didn't know she was going to marry you until two days ago! Besides, she doesn't love you! And she should have the right to marry who she wants!

He looked up and saw a steaming angry James who was tightening his fists. He kicked Hamilton once more. And again. And more until Alex was weak.

—30 minutes later—

Lafayette- What do you think happened to him?

Angelica- I have no idea.

Peggy- Did he die??

Angelica- Knowing him and his smart mouth, probably.

The crew waited and waited for Hamilton to come back, but it was so long until they finally saw him walking back, putting on his shirt and jacket. He was covering his face.
