/Hi Shōyō!!

We all miss you and we're happy to know that you're stable with everything! The adults are of course not happy with your decision, but they want you to know that if you ever need anything, they are just one call away!

Many of us have found families while others are still here, either way we're having a blast! Even though we miss you!

Nothing exciting has been happening without you here but Alec manages to pull some pranks on the adults! They are super fun, you should've seen!

Anyway, there is another letter here that's from Inuoka, and we all wish you good luck on your future matches! We'll be coming to cheer you on when you come to nationals!

I understand why you took your decision, honestly, I would've done the same... things are going great in school and volleyball for me and I'm super excited to see you again!! I'm so happy I could explode!!!

I want to see how you've grown but I also want to spend some alone time with you if that's ok and we can? We can talk it out on Friday...

I really miss you Shōcchan... I'm sure you do as well but, it was suffocating when you left so therefore you deserve revenge when I see you! I'm still planning on what I should do so be prepared!

Shōyō read the letters that had arrived on Wednesday, it was Saturday now and he was lying down on his bed scanning through them again and again as silent teardrops streamed down his cheeks.

"I love you too..."

"It's only two days left!! I can't believe it!! Finally, we're having a practise match against Nekoma, how crazy is that?!!?" Tanaka shouted as he slumped against his futon.

"I know right?! I wonder how good they are! I want to beat them! I'm sure we'll beat them!" Noya said proudly.

"Has anyone seen Shōyō? I can't find him..." Yamaguchi asked.

"Shōyō? Since when were you on a first name basis with him, huh?!" asked Noya.

"It's been quite some time..." Yamaguchi answered with a smile.

"I haven't seen him ever since we ate dinner... he just sort of disappeared..." Kinoshita said.

"Only ten minutes have passed since dinner and I got lost while finding the toilet... I don't think I'd disappear that easily, honestly... you'd have to do a lot more than just put me somewhere I've never been before..." Shōyō said jokingly.

"There you are...! What was it you wanted to talk about?" Yamaguchi approached him as Shōyō backed away. Personal space damn it, don't you know of it?

"Yeah, about that. I wanted to talk to all of you actually... about what's been bothering me..." Shōyō said as he turned his gaze to the team who looked back at him.

"That's awesome! Well then, come and sit so that you don't have to stand up!" Ennoshita said happily as he patted the free space beside him as Shōyō and Yamaguchi sat with them.

"Well, where should I even start?" Shōyō laughed awkwardly.

"It's... a pretty long story..." he said as he scratched the back of his neck.
