I hate this. I don't want to make Elias think he has a chance with me but fucking Ace said yes and I said yes which I shouldn't have said so it's partly my fault.
Ace left four days ago, we've been texting day and night. I miss him so much, just seeing him around since I don't get much alone time with him anyway.
As you might have figured already, this is a secret, adding a lot of those to the jar lately "Ready?" Elias asked as he joined me in the garage.
I nodded with a soft smile "I brought snacks for us."
"Good thinking," he grinned "helicopter rides are tiring."
My eyes went wide "He-helicopter rides?"
"Yes," he opened the passenger door of a black Lamborghini "I hate road trips."
I gulped as I got in nodding. I pulled out my phone quickly and texted Ace frantically.
Lotus: ACE! HE IS TAKING ME BY HELICOPTER! THIS, I DIDNT AGREE TO!
Ace: What?! Fuck.
Lotus: Fuck what?
Ace: He does this when he wants to get laid with his dates. Fuck, baby girl I'm sorry!
I sighed.
Lotus: It's fine, I'll figure it out, you go back to work.
Ace: I'll text him in 10 minutes to ask him what are his plans, maybe I'll convince him to take things slow. I'll fix this, babe, I promise.
Lotus: Thank you but don't worry if you can't, I'll find a way.
I put my phone away and looked at Elias who was buckling his seatbelt "How long is the flight?"
"35 minutes," he pressed the button so the garage doors open "it'll be fun, you can hold my hand if you're scared."
I giggled nervously "Yeah, that should help."
No, it will only make me more nervous.
The ride to the city he was the talkative one, he asked a lot of personal questions that I answered because I'm supposed to be interested in him getting to know me.
"We are going to have a great time, my family house in East Hampton ha—"
"House?" I looked at him.
He nodded looking forward "We are spending the night—"
"But I have to work, Elias and if Emerson finds out—"
"I told him I needed your help cleaning up the East Hampton house because our staff is busy with my mother in Paris," he parked in front of a tall building made out of a black glass "our ride is up there," he unbuckled his seatbelt and got off the car quickly.
"Fuck," I muttered looking down at my thighs.
Elias opened the door for me and led me through the building where I got weird looks, into the elevator with two bodyguards and went up to the helipad on the roof. When the elevator's door opened they revealed a red helicopter "Fuck," I whispered to myself, again.
