A few weeks later...
Daniel's POV
"I can't believe I agreed to be in a relationship with you. Even if it is to save the people I care about."
"Well you're getting what you deserve for what you did to Grayson. Putting him through hell like that wasn't right."
"I know, and that's one of the reasons I agreed to be in this relationship."
"But didn't Grayson forgive you?"
"Yes, but I have yet to forgive myself. Even if it has been quite a few years since all that stuff happened."
"Why?"
"Because I nearly killed him more times that I can count. I even got both of us kidnapped and nearly killed both of us. So I deserve to be beaten to bloody quivering pulp, so go ahead and get it over with. You can either do it, or I'll find someone else to do it. Or maybe I'll do it myself."
"I...I don't...none of my ex boyfriends have ever asked me to beat them up. I...I don't know what to do."
"If you won't willingly beat me up, then I'll force you to by making you angry."
12 hours later...
"Thank...you."
"You're welcome...???"
"Hey Logan?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"I love you too Daniel."
The next day...
Logan was finally done assaulting me for the fourth time today and I wasn't sure how to feel since I did ask him to beat me up yesterday, so that changed a lot of things around here.
"Daniel?"
"Yes?"
"I have to go help one of my friends, I'll be back in a few hours, so don't burn the house down, and try not to take your life."
"Ok. Have fun."
A few hours later...
"Daniel, I'm home."
Logan got no response.
"Daniel?"
"Daniel!?"
Logan entered my room and saw that I was about to hang myself, I was expecting him to just stand there and watch with a smile on his face that would show that he didn't care, as well as that this was the moment he waited for. The moment that would ruin Grayson's life forever.
Except that didn't happen. Instead he stopped me and cut me down.
"Why Logan? Why save my life? This is what you want, right? For me to kill myself so Grayson might do the same because my death would ruin his life forever?"
"I'll explain why I saved you later, but right now we need to talk."
"About what?"
"Your children."
