Period:27: Jughead Jones

Betty's Pov

I woke up and stretched my arms suddenly a piercing pain ran through my abdomen straight to my back. I winced in pain. I felt as though I had wet the bed, I got up and discovered blood. Ugh, It's that time of the month again. I took off the sheet and soaked it in cold water. I got some medicine out of the cupboard and drank it.

"Elizabeth what's taking you so long?" My mom shouts from downstairs. "Coming!" I shout back. I change my underwear and put on a pad I change into comfy clothes. A black sweatshirt. A pair of black mom jeans and red converse. I stuffed my books in my bag, pads and a bottle of pain killers.

I go downstairs. "Morning mom," I say. "morning sweety" she replies. I greet the twins Also my niece and nephew Juniper and Dagwood.[ A/N- Idk what kind of barbaric names those are]

I grab a slice of bread and head out. The pain in my stomach gets really bad. I don't want to go home cuz my mom will treat me like a dying human. I don't want to go to school either. I have classes and assignments I can't take that shit today, also jughead, my boyfriend he's the main reason I don't want to school today, I don't wanna worry him.

So I decided to go to sweet water river. I reach there and sit down. This was a place I could calm down. I take out my sketchbook and start drawing the sight before me. I sit for 20 minutes when I get a phone call. It's Veronica.

V: Bee where are you. school starts in 5 minutes

Me: I'm bunking

V: why?

Me: Period. Please don't tell jug I trust you enough not to tell him

V: okay where are you?

Me: somewhere. Safe

V: Can I come?

Me: Nah I want to spend some time alone

V: K enjoy. *over the phone I can here jug.*

Jug: Is that betty?

V: No it's my mom.

She ends the call. I laugh to myself. Another jolt of pain, "Ah" I cling onto my belly. I distract myself by drawing.

Jughead's Pov

"I'm worried about Betty. She never misses." I tell Archie and Veronica. "Dude she's human she can get sick maybe she's at home?" He suggests. I call her mom

Me: Hello Ms Cooper. Is Betty at home?

Ms Cooper: No she headed out for school 25 minutes ago is she not there?

Me: No she is she just walked in. *I lie*

Ms Cooper: Oh okay I got scared. By Jug-head

Me: By Alice.

~End of conversation~

"She's not at home," I say. " Maybe she's bunking?"Archie says. "Betty Copper bunking school. No way" I reply. "Maybe he's right," Veronica says. Playing with her nails "Veronica lodge where is my girlfriend?" I look at her. "I called she said that she was bunking cuz of her periods. She didn't tell me where she went." She confesses

"Damn you, Veronica!" I walk out of the student lounge. I walk out of the school. I go to my motorcycle I put on my helmet and rode to my Betty.

I go to pops. She's not there I grab 2 burgers and a milkshake. As I walk out I remember the place where we always go to. Sweet water river I smile and hop on my motorcycle again. When I reach there I see a blonde girl. Just the blonde I was looking for. I creep up next to her and cling on to her back gently. "Omg wtf" she yells. She turns around. "Jug? What...- What are you doing here?" She asks."Came to see if you were fine" I reply. I sit down behind her she leans into my chest she looks up and I look down. I look at her beautiful Ocean eyes [A/N- Sorry I had to I love billie]

"Why didn't you call to say you weren't feeling well?" I ask. "I didn't want to worry you juggie." She says sweetly. He hairs not tide in a ponytail like it usually is. She's left it I play with her hair. "Kiss me jug," She asks. I kiss her soft lips. "Thank you." She says.

"I brought you food. It's from pops." I say. Her face lights up. As she turns around to face me she suddenly collapses into my arms. "Ahh, Shit!"She screams in pain. "Betty!" I say. "Are you okay?"

She's softly crying. "Shhhh. It's okay" I try and comfort her. I'm now cradling her. When she's calm down a bit she wipes her tears and buries her face in my chest I stretch slightly and grab a burger and give it to her. She takes it and takes mouse size bites out of it. I give her the milkshake. She slowly tries and gets up. She sits up straight up. "Thanks, juggie," She says. She offers me her burger. I shake my head. I watch her eat. I smile. I see her sketchbook on the floor. I pick it up. I see that she's drawn sweet water river it looks exactly like it. "Wow Betts this looks really good," I say. "thanks it's still in the making." She giggles. "I hate being on my period it makes me feel sick." "And I hate seeing you in pain" I reply. "Aww jug," She says. She finishes her burger and puts her milkshake on the ground she straddles me. "I love you so much" She smiles. She kisses me. She pulls away. She hugs my neck. She falls off to sleep. I'll take her home later.

"I love you to Juliet" I whisper and watch the sunset.
