It's like when a straight person has such a huge crush on someone but can't have that person or doesn't want to fall too hard so they wish the person was gay. (I'm straight btw) or when a person likes someone of the same gender but that person is straight. K on w/ the story.

Betty's Pov 

I was walking into school with my boyfriend Reggie when I saw my best friend Jughead he gave me a weird look, so I went up to him. "Hey, juggie!" I said "Hi" He replied gloomily "why are you in such a bad mood?"I asked. "It's nothing Betts" he answered. "You're acting like a girl on her periods" I smiled. Usually, he would have laughed but he kept taking books out of his locker. "Hey!"Don't ign-"I was interrupted by Reggie grabbing my wrists I winced in pain he pulled me away from Jughead. 

He pulled me into an empty classroom "Ow! reggie stop you're hurting me!" that only made his grip tighter. "what were you thinking!"He screamed. "Thinking of what!"I tried to walk away but he pulled me closer to him. Our faces were inches apart. He kissed me hungrily.

 I pulled away and he started kissing my neck. "Reggie?" he didn't answer he kept kissing my neck. My wrists were now bleeding. I pushed him off me. "Reggie stop!" I said. "You're going to pay for that kitten. You know that," he said (A/n- I cringed writing that) I took a deep breath knowing Reggie was capable of. 

I had to skip school once cuz I couldn't walk after Reggie did things to me. I nodded and went to the bathroom to wash the now dried blood. 

I looked in the mirror and I saw all of my fucking insecurities. I'm supposed to be this perfect girl but I'm not I'm fucking broken and nobody notices. I sigh. (  A/n-This is basically me on a daily basis I'm fucking broken but nobody notices.) 

Time skip: at pops 

I was walking into pops with Reggie and the Bulldogs I saw jug and I waved but Reggie pulled me to a table. "Ohhh Reggie someone's girlfriend is not being loyal, "Chuck said. Reggie slapped me. Hard. 

Jughead's Pov

I was with Archie when saw Betty walk in with the Bulldogs she waved at me but Reggie pulled her away.  He slapped her! He fucking slapped Betty! I got up to go to her but Archie stopped me.

 "Dude don't you'll just make it worse!"He said "Archie let me go I need to help her he's abusing her! "I shouted at him but not too loud. "I know dude but Reggie he's done some shady things," He said I signed but sat back down "Why don't you hang out with them I mean you are part of the football team, " I said "Their jerks "He replied 

Betty's Pov

I sat down at the table sipping at my chocolate milkshake. "Don't drink all of it. you don't want to be fat" Reggie said and all the Bulldogs started laughing. I couldn't stand it anymore. I stood up and looked at Reggie. "Reggie!" I screamed. "What kitten that was just a joke. Come here" "Am I just a joke to you huh? cuz I know how much I'm worth. "I said and walked out of pops.

 My eyes were filled with tears. Jug came up to me. I quickly wiped my tears away. "Hey, there Juliet, "He said. I couldn't help but blush. "Hi-i, "I said. "Do you wanna go somewhere?"He asked, "where?" I said "I don't know let's just see where the day takes us"He smiled I nodded. 

He pointed to his motorcycle. "Without a helmet?"I said biting my lip a little."You can use mine. or we could walk or take a bus or..... we could call your mom. "He said laughing knowing my mother wasn't an option. "Haha give me that, "I said grabbing his helmet. I got on and wrapped my arms around his chest I blush. "Just go slow," I say. "Actually it's much more dangerous if we go slow. Hold on tight" He said. I abide. he drove until we were at sweet water river. 

"Hmm," I said "Why here of all places, "I asked. "because I'm your bestfriend and I know that you love coming to sweet water river. "I haven't been here in ages," I said. 

Being with Jughead was so blissful I could be a cow and he wouldn't mind I've started falling for him I really have. 

I looked at him and smiled he walked closer to me until his chest was against mine he leaned closer until his lips touched mine. I was surprised but kissed him back. We finally pulled away for breath I blushed and smiled to myself. 

He looked down at my wrists. He stepped back. "Betts what happened to your wrists," He asked. "Umm, nothing I fell while I was helping my mom in the garden. It happens!"I laughed. "You know you suck at lying" He replied. "I know. It was Reggie his grip was so tight that it bruised up "I said looking at my wrists.". I told him everything. about what was happening with Reggie. For month's I've been keeping this from him. It felt like a whole boulder had been lifted off my shoulder. He took my wrists in his hands and kissed them softly. i let out a small chuckle. "I'm going to kill that bastard!"He said. "No, it's okay"

 He pecked my lips again but this time I looked at him sadly. "What's wrong?"He askes me. "This can't happen, "I said moving my finger to and fro between us. "Why?"He askes. "My mom already hates you and you're serpent king she hates the serpents and she'll never leave us in peace," I reply. "Well, then we're going to have to keep it a secret. Like Romeo and Juliet," He said. "But we lived happily ever after instead. "exactly" He replied. He smiled and kissed me again.

I let down my walls for Reggie but then I remembered why I built them so high. With jug, all my walls just fell in an instant not in days, weeks or years. Just with a kiss. 

A/N-sorry for the slow updates but I've really been busy with school and personal stuff. My depression has hit hard. I'm doing a little better and writing wattpad stories really helps me. Also shoutout to @Lucayashipper27. Thank you for helping me w/ my weird life. ❤❤❤
