Y/N's Pov

"Last one in gets a sticky maple" Archie shouted to jug. They both started stripping really fast. Jug threw his beanie and it landed on my backpack. They both jumped into the water I laughed at them Veronica Betty also jumped.

Veronica and Archie started to kiss. ewwww. Betty swam to Jughead and wrapped her legs around his waist. 

"Hey jughead I'm wearing your beanie" I shouted to him "He looked at me and nodded. I picked up his beanie and put it on.

Betty's Pov

my head was on jugs neck while he wrapped his hands around me. "Jug how come you never let me wear your beanie, And you let Y/N wear it? "I whisper in his ears. He looks at me"You never asked, "Jug said, "So I can take your beanie whenever I want?"I smiled "Not every time!" he said kissing my neck. 

Jughead's Pov

The reason I never let betty wear my beanie is that I didn't like her the way I liked her when I first started dating her. I knew it was foolish to have a crush on Y/N but she always has time for me. I can talk to her and not be rejected. With Betty, everything she says goes. She started acting like this a few months ago. Honestly, it was so annoying. Y/N came into our lives not too long ago. She moved to Riverdale from LA. She was so shy at first but then she started to open up and she liked the things I liked. I looked at Y /N who was reading a book

"Y/N! come on. Don't be a buzzkill!" I shouted at her She stopped reading She looked at me and stuck her tongue out.

Y/N's Pov

I stuck my tongue at jug. He swam out of the water and picked me up. my book fell out of my hands and his beanie fell too "Forsythe put me down!" I screamed He threw me into the water. "Jug!"I gasped coming up for air. I pretended to not know how to swim.

Jughead's Pov

I started laughing. Her head came up and down. "I ca-n----t' swim," she said gasping for air. I was still laughing Her head came up a couple of times until I realized she didn't come back up. I panicked. everyone was looking at me and shouting. I dived in looking for her until I felt something cling onto my neck drowning me. It was Y/N. She sat on my shoulders hugging my neck. She was laughing still fully clothed. "Jughead take me to the shore I want to get out of my wet clothes," she said. I obliged.

She got off my shoulders and started to strip. She was wearing a black swimsuit. She saw me looking "What we drove all this way and none of you brought swimsuits". She jumped in. She started splashing water at Betty.

We all got off the water and me and Archie went to find dry sticks to make a fire.

Y/N's Pov

I was drying my hair when Betty was giving me a death glare. She was whispering something to Veronica I walked up to her "Hey we haven't talked all day. "Just stay away from Jughead," She said standing up "What?"I said "Why"

"he's my boyfriend," She said. "I know he's your boyfriend we're just good friends" I replied. 

Honestly, I had feelings for jug It's just he dated betty and they were endgame. I sigh. 

"Betty what's going on"Jughead asked. "It's just you see I'm not comfortable with Y/N always with you. It's like you have a crush on her or something. I demand you to stop talking to her!"Jug just looks at me and blushes. Betty notices. "You do have a crush on her"She croaks she starts crying. he runs away Veronica right behind her.

I just look at jug "Um....so..."I ask awkwardly "do you have a crush on me?"I say looking at the ground. "Yeah I do"He replies "It's okay it's stupid," he said. "It's not stupid," I say looking at him. He leans in and kisses me I'm surprised at first but then kiss back I wrap my hand around his neck and he wraps his hands around my waist. I this was a very new feeling to me. This was my first kiss omg. We pull away. He smiles "Well I guess that explains how I feel about you," I say. 

We laugh. "What are you gonna do with Betty?"I ask feeling bad for her. "Were over she's gonna break up with me in? "He says as Betty walks up to us "3-...2....1 and, "jug says "Were over!"She screams.

We both start laughing. "What's so funny?"She asks. we keep laughing. "You two weirdos deserve each other"

I hugged him "So what does that make us?"I asked "My girlfriend?" He suggested. "Hmm sure. I like the way that sounds.

A/n- I'm so sorry for breaking up bughead and making Betty a bad person. But I just went with the flow
