"nah don't start calling me Madders" he frowned
"then don't count that goal" I told him
"fine" he sighed before trying to give me a kiss

"oh well in that case" he chuckled backing away from the table

"too late, come on lets get out of here" he said grabbing my hand
"where we going?" I asked him
"okay just keep walking and ignore everything they say" he warned me as we walked out to paparazzi
"James how do you feel about joining Leicester City? When do you start preseason? Why are you in London and not settling down in Leicester?" a couple of them shouted as we got into a taxi
"the east london hotel please mate" James said to the driver
"them flashes gave me a headache" I joked
"I've never had paps except for when I was with the whole team it's a bit mental" he sighed

"have you not seen Deadpool 2?" I asked him

"sorry who's hotel address did you give the driver" I chuckled
"alright you win" he pouted
"I always win" I said giving him a kiss
"I just thought of something really cringe I coulda replied to that with" he laughed
"well you can't say that and then not say it" I exclaimed
"I was gonna say well I'm always a winner if I have you" he said which made me burst out laughing
"I can't, I probably would be sick if you said that to me seriously" I giggled
"well there goes my proposal speech" he joked
"here you are" the driver announced as he pulled up to the hotel
"you changed hotels?" I asked him as we got out the car
"nooo" he chuckled
"you did! Why did you change?" I questioned
"I was actually meant to go up to Leicester on Monday" he explained
"why didn't you go then?" I asked
"I wanted to watch the match with you" he said scratching the back of his neck
"oh my god that's so cute!" I exclaimed
"it's not that big of a deal" he smiled
"it is to me" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek
"well I think I deserve a little more than a kiss on the cheek then" he winked
"good things come to those that wait" I whispered in his ear as he turned around to open the hotel room door
"Libby Lennon, you are gonna be the death of me" he sighed

user02494 I served the two of them at the bar they were at they seemed very cosy and had a laugh all night, wouldn't be surprised if they become an item if they're not already. I think I remember her name being Libby or Lilly, something like that.
