"Jennie, hurry up!" Irene yelled. "I'm about to leave!"
"I'm coming!" Jennie ran down the stairs.
Irene looked over the girls outfit and nodded. "You have Chanel suspenders?"
Jennie looked at the girl like she was crazy as they walked out the door. "You don't?"
"Not everyone wants to show off their money like you and Roseanne."
"I don't like to show off my money," Jennie said as they got in the car. "I like to show off my Chanel."
Irene rolled her eyes. "Right," she said.
The two made their way to Rosé's house and Irene pulled into the driveway. Jennie went to get out of the car, but her host sister grabbed her arm.
"What?" Jennie looked back at her.
Irene reached into the glove compartment and pulled out pepper spray. "This is one of Rosé's bigger parties. It won't just be our school here and then some this time. Take this just in case."
"I'm a big girl, Irene. I don't need pepper spray," Jennie laughed.
The dark haired girl put the can in her hand. "Like I said, just in case," she gave her a soft smile. "I've been going to this party for years. I know what can happen."
"Alright," Jennie put the pepper spray in her bra and got out of the car.
The two went inside the house and to their group's usual corner. The only thing different, was Jennie was sitting with The Pinks instead of The Velvets.
"Hello, ladies," Rosé smiled at the two.
"Roseanne," Irene greeted her as she sat down.
Jennie sat down beside her and leaned her head on her shoulder.
"I'm so glad you two are finally official," Ten said. "I was in literal pain watching you two act like a couple, but would deny that you are one."
"We weren't a couple," Rosé shrugged.
"Anyway," Lucas rolled his eyes. "What are we doing for the senior trip this year?"
"We're juniors," Jennie said.
"I know."
"Rosé's family plans the senior trip," Jisoo explained. "Usually only The Pinks go on it, but now it's all of us, plus Chan and the boys."
"Who the hell are your parents?" Jennie looked at Rosé.
"That's not important," Rosé shook her head.
"I think it is—"
"Well, I don't," the red haired girl looked at her girlfriend. "They aren't home enough to be considered parents."
Jennie's eyes narrowed, but she decided not to make a big deal. "Okay," she said.
Everyone stared at them.
"Problem?" Rosé stared back.
"Nope," Namjoon shook his head as everyone looked away.
"Anyway," Lisa said. "We're going to Paris."
"We are?" Joy sounded excited.
"We are?" Rosé looked at her.
"That's what you told us," Jisoo said.
"I did say that, didn't I?" Rosé ran her hand through her hair. "We're going to Paris!"
"Are you okay?" Mark asked.
"Me?" the red haired girl raised her brows. "Yeah, I'm—"
"I was talking to Jennie."
Everyone turned their attention to the girl. Jennie has her face leaning on her hand and she was more pale than usual. Rosé placed a hand on the exchange student's back, looking slightly alarmed.
"I'm fine," Jennie waved them off.
"You don't look fine, babe," Rosé moved Jennie's hair out of her face.
"She said she was feeling lightheaded earlier today," Irene said, "but when she ate something and took a nap, she seemed fine."
"I'll go get her some water," Seulgi said before walking to the kitchen.
Jennie gagged, turning her head away from everyone.
"Hey," Rosé said softly. She stood up, helping the girl stand with her. "Come on. You're going to lay down."
Jennie leaned on the older girl, wrapping her arms around her waist as they walked. "I'm fine."
"You're not," Rosé said, opening her room door. Jennie got on the bed and sighed. "I'll be back to check on you in a few minutes."
"Check on me?"
"This is a big party. We don't need anything happening to you, or anyone. Now, go to sleep," the red haired girl kissed her girlfriend's temple and left the room.
She sat back down in her spot and smiled. "She's good."
"You left her up there?" Jimin asked.
"I'm going to check on her periodically, please," Rosé waved him off.
"Okay," the boy sounded hesitant.
The rest of the group brushed it off and carried on with their conversation. About five minutes into the conversation, Rosé noticed that Irene kept looking behind her. She was going to question it, but as soon as she opened her mouth, Irene looked at her with wide eyes.
"Okay, I'm gonna say something, but you have to promise to not be alarmed," she said.
Rosé raised her brow. "What?"
"Oh, hell," Jisoo said, looking over Irene's shoulder.
"What is it?!" Rosé panicked.
"Okay, so Kai came over here and asked where you two were. Then Lisa, being a gossip girl, told him everything that happened and when she was done he walked to a corner and now he's—"
Irene was cut off by Rosé and Lucas running off. The two ran up the stairs and into Rosé's room. To the right, they saw Kai on the floor, covering his eyes while he groaned in pain. On the left, they saw Jennie puking her guts out.
Rosé went to her girlfriend and helped her to the bathroom, while Lucas grabbed Kai by his arms and dragged him out of the room.
"Wait, Lucas," Kai said.
Lucas ignored him as he walked down the stairs. He walked up to Kai's group of friends and dropped his arms. The boys looked at him.
"Damn, what happened to him?" A boy named Suho laughed, nudging his friend with his foot.
"Pepper spray," Lucas said. "Maybe you guys should teach him not to mess with girls that he thinks are incapable of fighting back."
"Huh?" One of them asked.
"If he comes near Jennie again, I'm beating his ass."
