[okay, so i know football only exists in the states, but i'm still gonna make it happen because football season is the best season of the year]

~one month later~

Jennie and Rosé have been talking to each other for the past month, but still weren't in a relationship. Jennie definitely wasn't going to make the first move. Rosé, on the other hand, had something in mind, but was too scared to put it in play. She and Lisa also made up once they realized it wasn't that deep. Jisoo didn't hold grudges, she thought it was bad for her skin, so she let it go the next day.

Now that all the drama's out of the way, lets get to the important parts. The Velvets and The Pinks are still enemies, Jennie's in the middle of it, the boys could care less about anything to girls have going on, and Ten is back from China and he brought someone with him.

Oh, and today's the school's first football game.

"Jennie!" Irene yelled as she burst into her friend's room.

Jennie held up her finger. "엄마," she laughed. "걱정 하지마, 난 괜찮아." Mom. Don't worry, I'm fine.

"확실해?" Jennie's mom asked. Are you sure?

"네," Jennie gave her mother a reassuring smile.

"Okay."

"Okay," the exchange student said.

Irene smiled at the two. If only she had this type of relationship with her mom.

"사랑해," Jennie said dramatically, blowing her mother a kiss. "Bye bye."

"Bye bye."

She hung up the phone and looked at Irene. "Yes, Joohyun?"

"Today's the first football game of the year," Irene smiled. "We have to show school spirit."

"And how exactly will we do that?"

"Get ready and I'll show you."

Jennie rolled out of bed, literally, and let out a huff after she hit the floor.

"Does that not hurt?" Irene asked.

"I do it every morning. I don't even feel the pain anymore."

"Well," the older girl said. "I'll be in my room. Tell me when you're ready."

Jennie got off of the floor, took an outfit from her closet, and went to the bathroom to take a shower. She quickly got ready and went to Irene's room. Irene looked at her and nodded.

"Who are you trying to show off for?" she teased.

"This is how I always dress," Jennie rolled her eyes.

"You look like you're going to a concert with that lace top on."

"Who gon check me boo?"

"Your girlfriend," Irene said as she grabbed her keys.

"I don't have a girlfriend—"

"You and Rosé still aren't dating?"

"Nah," Jennie smiled at the sound of the girl's name. "I think both of us are too scared to make the first move."

Irene hummed in response.  "Well, you two have been spending a lot of time together, so maybe it'll happen soon," the two walked out of the condo and down the stairs. "How's the project going?"

"So far, it's mainly just pictures of our dates that aren't dates and a few pictures of her parties."

"Who has even heard of that?"

"Of what?" Jennie got in the car and put on her seatbelt.

"A date that isn't a date? Jennie, that's not a thing. It's either a date or it isn't."

"Roseanne and I are complicated. You're going to have to get used to it—"

Jennie's phone started ringing. Irene glanced at the phone in the girl's lap and smiled.

"Rosé?"

"You know it is," Jennie answered the phone and put it on speaker. "Kim Jennie's phone, how may I help you?"

"Hi Miss Kim, this is Park Chaeyoung calling. I was just wondering where in the hell you were seeing as class started twenty minutes ago."

"I see Miss Park. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I can assure you that I am on my way and will be there shortly."

"Great! Sorry to bother you Miss Kim. I'll see you soon, and don't forget to hurry your dumb ass up."

"No problem Miss Park," Jennie ended the call.

"That is not how a normal couple talk to each other on the phone," Irene said.

"We are not a couple."

Irene just rolled her eyes in response. "We're here," she pulled into her parking spot.

"Weren't we supposed be doing something to show—"

"We're getting there. For now, go find your girlfriend that isn't your girlfriend and tell her I said come here."

"But—"

There was a knock on Irene's window. The two girls looked and Irene rolled her eyes.

"Sana," she grumbled, rolling down her window. "Hi, sweets!"

"Irene," Sana smiled. "Where's Roseanne?"

"In her skin. Why?"

"Why do you think?"

"Do I look like a mind reader Minatozaki?"

"No, but she does," Sana looked at Jennie and smiled.

"Shit," Jennie mumbled under her breath.

"Word around town is that you and Rosé are dating. Would you mind telling me where she is?"

"We aren't—"

"I'm right here!" Rosé ran out of the school and over to Jennie's side of the car.

She tapped on the window and Jennie let it down. Rosé grabbed her face and pecked her lips.

"Gross," Irene fake gagged. "Please, let's focus on why Sana's here?"

"Before that, did you know Ten's boyfriend moved here?" Rosé asked.

"Really?" the other two girls looked surprised.

"Yeah, he was in my first period and—"

"Roseanne!" Sana raised her voice.

Rosé's lips pursed together and her eyes got wide as she looked at Sana. "Hm?"

"What do you want? I don't have all day. I have a pep rally to get ready for."

"Right," the pink-haired girl smiled. "Come with me."

The two left and Jennie and Irene looked at each other.

"No clue," they both said in unison.

"Let's go to class," Irene unbuckled her seatbelt. "I don't have time for all of that this morning."
