Sunset

Chapter 5

       Nag ATV nga muna sila ng umaga. Naka ride on lang si Leila sa kay Troy.Inikot nila ang buong lugar. Pinagdrive rin ni Troy si Leila, teaching and guiding her on how to use the ATV hanggang sa matuto ito. She enjoyed driving the ATV.
      Noong malapit nang mag lunch ay isinuli na nila ang ATV. Troy asked her to detour muna sa front desk Ng resort and picked up the picnic basket for their picnic.
       She was surprised. Troy must have a good relationship at work dahil he could even asked them to prepare that for him.

        Hindi masyadong alam ni Leila ang pinuntahan  nila. Ang alam lang niya ay dinala siya ni Troy sa  top ng mountain facing another mountain with  river in between. Malakas daloy ng tubig. Maraming lush na puno sa palagid at mga iba ibang klase and colors ng mg flowers.

       Leila took in the view, every single detail."
To Troy, this is so beautiful," sabi ni Leila na tiningnan ang river. "Parang raging river  that you usually see in the US."

        Napangiti si Troy habang inaayos ang picnic blanket at binaba ang picnic basket na dala dala. "It's beautiful huh!"sabi pa sabay upo sa blanket. "Only a handful people knew about this place. I found it by accident nong naghiking ako dito."

    Umupo si Leila sa tabi ni Troy. "Thank you for bringing me here. I wish I knew how to paint.If  I could paint, I would paint this place."

   " You're the only one I brought here,"seryosong sabi ni Troy.

    She was surprised. Nakatingin Siya kay Troy."Really?" takang tanong ni Leila. "Why?"

     He shrugged his shoulder." This place feels special to me. My hiding place" sabi nito.And didn't feel like sharing it with anybody but with you ..... I don't know ..... It just feels right with you "

     " Hmmmm.......our meadows,"sabi ni Leila na humiga sa blanket." Maybe because now, we have our meadows ..... like Bella and Edward ...... but Bella and Jake for us........"

      Napalingon si Troy sa kanya."Yah, our meadow."nakangiting sagot sabay humiga na rin sa may blanket.

     Leila turned to her side still lying in the blanket"Are you working tomorrow?"tanong ni Leila .

   "Unfortunately, yes,"sagot ni Troy.  " May darating na mga supplies tomorrow. I have to do an inventory to make sure that everything is in order. Why? Do you have something in mind?"

   "No, " sagot ni Leila." I was just wondering ."

   " Don't worry I  see you after work,"kaagad na sabi ni Troy who turn to face her side lying too in the blanket."I'll come by in the villa."

    "No, you don't need to, especially if you're tired,"sabi ni Leila." You should rest. I know how hard you worked."

    Napasimangot si Troy."You don't want me to ? You don't want me to come see you tomorrow?"

Leila  was still faced him, lying sideways in the blanket and pinch both his cheeks."Nagdadrama! All I am saying is, if you're tired, I want you to rest first. No need to see me. There will be other days naman eh."

   Troy shook his head." Nope , I'll see you tomorrow,"panigurado nito."Baka medyo late lang siguro ng konti but I will definitely see ...... if I am still welcome kahit late na"

"Okay," sagot lang ni Leila." And of course, you are welcome. You are welcome anytime."

        Nine na ng gabi na karating si Troy the following day sa villa ni Leila. He look so tired, so exhausted. May dala dala itong maliit na duffle bag. Dumiretso itong umupo sa couch.
