I WOKE UP TO THE TIRELESS beeping of my morning alarm. I groaned into my pillow and rolled over onto my side. It was way too early for this. When I got home last night, it was one in the morning. I was so tired, the rush I got from kissing Jungkook having slipped away to allow sleep in, that I couldn't be bothered showering. I simply got dressed for bed and went to sleep.

Groaning again, I turned my alarm off and threw back the covers.

I really hate Mondays.

I padded over to my bathroom and undressed. I put my clothes in the wash basket and opened the glass door to my shower cubicle. After using my hand to test the temperature, I stepped into the steady stream of water. My muscles instantly relaxed, the heat soothing the ache that had begun to spread throughout my body.

I grabbed the body wash and began scrubbing at my skin, wasting no time with my usual shower routine. Once that was done, I massaged shampoo, then conditioner, into my hair.

Today, I was going to look for an editorial job. I'd already prepared my resume and I'd already scoped out a few places I wanted to apply. Of course, there was still the matter of applying for an interview and then making sure that it didn't clash with the rest of my schedule, but apart from that, today wasn't actually looking too bad.

"Hey, Ellie! You up?"

My eyes shot open. That was Tae's voice.

I looked around me, panicked. I'd stupidly left the bathroom door open, meaning that if Taehyung came into my bedroom, he'd see straight in here and see me naked. I suppose it wouldn't be the first time. We had grown up together, but it was different now. I wasn't the same five year old girl I was back then. I had significantly matured; we both had.

I scrambled to shut off the water before clumsily staggering out of the shower cubicle. Careful not to slip, I leaned over and grabbed my towel from its hanger. I quickly wrapped the white material around my body and hurried out of the bathroom.
