WE QUICKLY SHOWERED AND HOPPED OUT. I was now standing in front of my open closet, thumbing through hanger after hanger in search of something to wear. "Where did you say we were going again?" I questioned. After we finished showering, Jungkook suggested that we go out, only he forgot to mention where it was we were going exactly.
"I told you, it's a surprise," he said as he pulled his shirt on, fixing it over his toned abdomen. "We just need to stop by my place first. I'll change my clothes and then we'll be off."
"Why can't you just tell me." That way I can pick out a suitable outfit.
Jungkook approached my side and picked out a sunflower-yellow crop top and plucked a pair of light-blue denim jeans from my drawer. He then handed them to me. "Then it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?"
I silently glowered at him. "Fine, you win Jeon Jungkook. You win."
Once dressed - Jungkook also recommended that I wear my converse - we headed out into the kitchen. Salem immediately jumped down off the couch and strutted over to me, meowing loudly. He rubbed his body up against my leg before I swept him into my arms. "Hey baby," I murmured cutely. "You hungry? Yeah, I think you're hungry."
"Aw, but I thought I was your 'baby'."
I slowly turned my head to look at Jungkook and was relieved to find that he was only teasing. It would have been a real concern if he was jealous over a cat. I quickly fed Salem and fetched a suitable bag. I slipped it across my body, allowing the brown-leather body to rest at my hip, and after swiping my phone and wallet, we headed out the door. I locked it behind me and we made our way down. Once outside, Jungkook directed me to his car and I climbed into the passenger seat.
He ended up taking me to a cute café down town. We ended up ordering coffee and a few pastries and baked goods. Afterwards, we hopped back in the car and Jungkook took me to the local park. Jungkook linked my arm with his as we walked the pathways slinking through the green oasis.
