"YOU WANT TO WHAT?" I asked, my eyes widening slightly. "No. No way." I sat with Namjoon and Taehyung, Jennie and Lalisa sitting off to the side. It was six o'clock and the rest of our entourage had yet to wake up. That left the five of us to wait in the lobby's seating area.
"Come on, Ellie. I think it'll be fun," Taehyung tried to convince me. "We can also do a little filming for Run BTS while we're at it. We could kill two birds with one stone."
"But I don't have a swimsuit."
Lalisa took my arm, linking it with hers. I discreetly tried inching out of her grasp. "Jennie and I could help you pick one out," she suggested. "I wanted to do a little shopping while I was here anyway."
"Please, Ellie," Taehyung said pleadingly. "Water polo won't be as much fun without you."
"I don't know Taehyung," I relented. "If you're filming, I don't think it's appropriate for me to be in it. I'm your manager, remember?" I said, making Tae's shoulders slump forward in defeat. A grin settled on my face. "I never said that I wouldn't play afterwards though."
A smile gradually formed on his face. "You little sneak." He then gathered me in his arms, squishing me into his chest in a massive bear hug. "You really had me going for a second there."
"Taehyung, I can't breathe," I joked, but considering how tight he was hugging me, I wasn't that far off. His lips curved upwards in a sinister grin and he squeezed me tighter, making me giggle and push at his chest. I was so swept up in the moment, that I hadn't even noticed Jungkook approaching alongside Jimin.
Jungkook cleared his throat and the smile immediately evaporated from my face. I know that we weren't dating, but there was still that sensitivity. I knew that Jungkook was sensitive to Taehyung and I's relationship, even if it was only platonic. Even I admit to being jealous when I saw Jungkook and Lalisa together.
