I was freaking out for the rest of the days, not doing much but talking with other tributes. Kenny and I really got to talking, and he suggested we become allies. Of course I said yes! I mean, who wouldn't?

Finally the day arrived. I went down into a smallish chamber and saw Markus waiting for me. He gave me a green tank top and jeans, along with some sturdy green combat boots. Then he surprised me by putting the tree necklace on me.
"Here, watch this," he said, and gently pushed in the center of the leaves. It sprang open, and inside were all the seeds from Nico and Miles! Each little branch from the tree held different seeds.
"It reacts to life. If you die, it will spring open and release the seeds."
I was speechless. I gave him a hug, and then heard a tinny voice say, " 20 seconds to go to your elevator. " I let go, and rushed over to a small platform in the corner.
"rising." said the voice again. I waved at Markus, and then I turned around.
The cornucopia was in the middle, and we were surrounded by trees.
"10" Oh gods, oh gods
"9" My heart was pounding
"8" HELP, I wanted to scream
"7" I was hyperventilating
"6" What if I died?
"5" No. I will live.
"4" You need to go to the cornucopia grab something, then run.
"3" Yeah. Run.
"2" I waved at Kenny and he nodded.
"1" The tubes melted away and I ran. I pushed aside bodies as I clambered towards my goal. The cornucopia. I reached for a bag, and my fingers latched onto its handles. I grabbed it, grabbed the collar of Kenny's shirt, and ran into the woods.
Im sorry, I know this is really short, but I needed a short time in between to actually get it written, cause, bless his heart, MY MATH TEACHER GAVE ME A PROJECT ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! I mean, really. Whats the point? why am i telling you this? oh whatevers... check out my other shared account with Calypso_17!
