Flame Academy

Hindi maganda ang simula ng unang araw ko. But the rest of the day, medyo naging maayos na. The teachers treated me well. Pero may mga teachers din naman na mukhang strict at seryoso masyado pero hindi naman ako pinag-initan sa first day ko. My classmates didn't do anything to harm me. It's either hindi nila ako papansinin o simpleng susulyapan lang. But that's better instead of being bullied by them. Though, medyo masakit din dahil parang wala ako kung ituring nila.

My classes went well. Just like what Jillian and Bea told me, halos pareho lang ang pinag-aaralan dito at sa mga normal na school sa mga syudad. But there are also some subjects that includes potion making and involvement of power. Meron ding oras kung saan training ang ginagawa imbes na magklase. And that thought made me anxious.

How can I do some trainings if I don't even know my flame? If I can't produce nor use it? Kung sakali mang mag-training kami, siguradong mapapahiya lang ako.

Base from the book Sir Laxus gave me that I'm currently reading right now, kailangan talagang pag-aralan ng mga flamers ang mga bagay na pinag-aaral ng mga normal na tao. It was said that some of the flamers are scattered around the normal world, living like ordinary people. If you can graduate from the Flame Academy, you can work in the cities outside the academy. You can live like a normal person. You can also use your flame but not for your evil deeds. But as long as you don't need to use it, hindi mo ito pwedeng gamitin. And that's the reason why we're almost having the same education as the normal people.

But aside from working outside, you can also go to the place they call Flame City, a city that is exclusively built for flamers. Sa lugar na iyon pwedeng pumunta ang mga taong tapos nang mag-aral dito sa academy. They can start their own business their and the other flamers as their buyers. They can also start their own families there. At halos lahat ng mga flamers na nag-aaral dito, sa Flame City ipinanganak.

That city was kilometers away from the academy. Wala akong nabasa tungkol sa itsura ng Flame City and that made me a little bit disappointed. I want to know what that city looks like. But I know that I cannot go there since hindi pa ako tapos sa pag-aaral dito. And to make it worst, kasisimula ko pa lang.

I raised my head when I heard the curtains being blown by the wind. Tumingin ako sa nakabukas na bintana sa tabi ng kama ko, sa bandang paanan. A strong blast of wind is coming inside the room and that made me shiver because coldness for a moment. Doon ko lang din napansin na gabi na at mukhang medyo napahaba ang pagbabasa ko.

I closed the book and placed it on the bed. Tumayo ako mula sa kama at lumapit sa bintana. I immediately embraced myself when a harsh gush of wind touched my skin, especially my face. I just breathed out and was about to close the window when I noticed a building inside the forest.

Naningkit ang mga mata ko dahil ngayon ko lang ito napansin. This window was facing the back of the dormitory building, which is already the forest. And maybe one kilometer away from us stood a large gray building.

"That's our hospital."

I almost jumped out of my spot when I suddenly heard Jillian's voice behind me. I immediately looked back and saw her grinning from ear to ear.

"You startled me," I said. Tinapik-tapik ko na lang ang dibdib ko at mahinang natawa.

She just chuckled and looked outside the window. I followed her eyes as the wind keep on blowing our hair. Then I saw her looking at the building she called hospital.

"Is that really a hospital?" tanong ko at tumingin sa kanya.

She nodded. "Sir Alabaster, Sir Laxus' father, built that hospital. Halata naman siguro kung bakit niya itinayo 'yan."
