Wala na sila Bea at Jillian sa mga kama nila nang magising ako. At hindi ko alam kung bakit palaging sila ang nauunang magising kahit na ako palagi ang nauunang matulog. Sanay na sanay na ba silang gumising nang maaga? O talagang tulog mantika lang ako?

I just sighed and got up. I fixed the bed and entered the bathroom. Pagkatapos kong isuot ang uniform ko, kaagad akong lumabas ng kwarto. I entered the kitchen and greeted them good morning.

Bea smiled at me while putting the plates on the table. Saktong katatapos lang ding magluto ni Jillian kaya good mood na naman si Bea dahil hindi kami maglalakad papuntang dining hall.

We sat on our seats and started eating. I was only quiet while enjoying the food when Bea suddenly spoke.

"Ang galing mo kagabi." I looked at her and she smiled wider. "Nagulat talaga ako no'ng bigla mo siyang hinarap. The best 'yung sinabi mong 'stop acting like a bitch'! Sabog siya doon, Kate!"

I shyly smiled because I suddenly felt embarrassed. "Did I crossed the line?"

"That was harsh but she deserved it. You just defended yourself and nothing is wrong with that. Besides, she's the one who went overboard because she even insulted your mother," Jillian said and Bea nodded.

Napatango-tango na lang din ako at napabuntong hininga. If she didn't mention Mommy last night, I don't think I will have the courage to say those words. And even if I know that I only defended myself, I still feel bad about it.

Though, medyo gumaan din ang loob ko dahil doon. It was like I was able to bring out something I kept for so long. But I do hope that that would be the last time. Because honestly, I don't want to hurt anyone through my words or actions.

All eyes immediately landed on me the moment we entered the classroom. I just gulped and pretended not to notice their stares. They are probably thinking of what happened last night.

Umupo kami sa mga upuan namin at nakita ko kaagad ang paglingon sa akin ng mga kaibigan ni Zeska. They just rolled their eyes and went back to their chitchats. And I was slightly shocked by that. Palagi kasi silang may napupuna sa tuwing pumapasok ako. Pero mukhang wala silang masabi ngayon dahil wala din si Zeska.

The door opened and I heard Neo's voice. Lumingon ako at nakita siyang kasama si Ace pero naibalik ko kaagad ang paningin ko sa harapan nang makitang kasama din nila ang Main Titan na iyon.

It looks like Jillian noticed that because she suddenly looked at me with a frown. She didn't say anything and just did something on her laptop. Nakahinga ako nang maluwag dahil hindi siya nagtanong.

Ace sat at the chair in front of our table and smiled. "Good morning."

"Good morning!" Bea greeted back. Jillian nodded at them while I just smiled.

Nagsimulang mag-usap sila Bea, Neo, at Ace at kahit naririnig ko sila, parang hindi ko din maintindihan ang pinag-uusapan nila. I can feel a pair of eyes looking at me and I know whose eyes are those. The skin in my back crawled as I felt someone staring at it.

What's the problem of that Main Titan?

Bigla ko namang naalala iyong nangyari kagabi. He looked like he was about to say something before I walked passed him. I feel bad about not listening to him but I don't regret doing that. I don't know but I just have this feeling that he will just say something to hurt me.

And I also don't know how I managed to cut the connection of our eyes last night. Nagawa kong iiwas ang paningin ko. Nagawa kong lagpasan siya at hindi ko alam kung bakit kagabi ko lang iyong nagawa.
