I stared at him while still preventing my tears from falling. His flame came out from his hand and it formed into a sword. I gulped hard when I saw it.

"Ready to have your demise?"

"Y-you can't kill me," I said but also felt doubtful about it.

His smirk grew wider. "I was born to kill you."

He stepped back and tried to stab me and I did my best to avoid it. Nagawa ko naman itong iwasan pero nahagip nito ang kaliwang braso ko.

I held my arm and bit my lower lip. Natawa naman siya at nang mapatingin ako sa espadang nasa kamay niya, it has no trace of my blood. And I suddenly started to feel the wound burning.

"You have fast reflexes to avoid that with this distance," he said, referring to us only a meter apart. "But that won't save you from me."

Napaatras naman ako habang tuloy-tuloy pa din ang daloy ng dugo mula sa braso ko at sa mga sugat na natamo ko din sa kanya kanina. But I also stopped when I was already standing at the edge of the rooftop.

I gulped when I realized that there is no railings around the rooftop. That means, one more step and I'll surely fall. And there's no assurance if I could still live after hitting the ground.

"No more escape."

Tumingin ako sa kanya at nakita ang ngisi niya. Muli akong napatingin sa babagsakan ko at sa kanya ulit.

If I will die right now, I rather choose to die because of falling from here than being killed by the man I love. Huminga ako nang malalim at muling tumingin sa kanya.

And before his sword can reach me, I already stepped back and let myself fall from the building. I immediately felt the force dragging me down and I know that once I hit the ground, my life will end for real.

But I can't die right now.

I summoned my phoenix and it caught me right before I totally hit the ground. Umayos ako ng upo sa likuran nito at napahinga nang malalim.

"Thank you," I whispered while caressing my phoenix's body.

Tumingala ako at nakita si Zach na nakatingin sa akin. I cannot clearly see his face but I know that he's still smirking.

When I looked down, I saw that the flamers are still fighting each other. I also saw my friends and I felt relieved when I saw their good state.

But I frowned when I didn't saw Sir Laxus anywhere. Miss Lara, Miss Cassandra, and Sir Austin are also not here. Hindi kaya nasa loob sila ng mga buildings?

I was about to look around once again when Main Titan's hummingbird suddenly appeared in front of us. Kaagad na umatras ang phoenix ko habang nakasakay ako sa kanya.

"Go!" I yelled and my phoenix immediately started to fly away when his flame animal started to chase us.

That flame hummingbird started to release black flames from his mouth. We didn't have a choice but to avoid it so I held my phoenix tight. Naging pagewang-gewang na kasi ang lipad ng phoenix ko kaya nahirapan na akong balansehin ang sarili ko.

Since he's flame is considered as the fastest flame because it's one of his flame's abilities, madali lang kaming naabutan ng flame animal niya. Hinarang kami nito kaya kaagad akong gumawa ng shield. Then I released a strong wave of light which sent his hummingbird away from us.

Kaagad kaming lumipad palayo bago pa man ito makabawi at habulin kami ulit. I glanced at the rooftop of the only building on the west part of the academy and saw him still standing near its edge.
