The four vloggers had found a quiet restaurant that wasn't full from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas shoppers in Brighton. Zoe, Gabby, Niomi and Tanya sipped on their drinks as they texted, tweeted and instagramed. Tanya had travelled down to Brighton to visit Zoe and spend some time with her friends, leaving Jim at home because he had 'work' to do.
Zoe's POV
Everyone seemed slightly quieter than usual. Normally the table would be filled with laughter and conversation, with everyone vlogging their food. However today no one seemed as hyper, so I tried to break conversation.
"Uhm, I've never been to this cafe before, so we'll have to see if it meets our standards."
"That sounds like we're so posh, like when you said 'our standards'," Niomi giggled.
"One must get one's standards of food, Nimbob," Zoe spoke in a posh accent.
"I can't do a posh accent," exclaimed Gabby,"I end up cry-laughing."
"Neither can I, I think it's the way I say 'rather' all the time," agreed Tanya.
Our conversation about posh accents seemed to last for ever.
I love it when we all talk about nothing together, like posh accents or pedestrian Olympics. As we giggled, I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I took it out to see it was a message from Marcus.
Hiiiiii Zoe,
Since you are all out in Brighton, I thought maybe we could meet up at the pier in half an hour? I'm with Alfie since we just filmed a video and we haven't been altogether in a while so I thought this would be the ideal time. Niomi texted me earlier saying it was quite busy because of all the Christmas shoppers, but a winter beach walk cant hurt can it?
Marky butt butt
"Who was that from," asked Tanya.
"Marky was asking if we wanted to meet up at the pier in half an hour, what do'ya reckon?"
"God I can't get away from that man," joked Niomi.
I took that as a yes, so I texted back
Sounds good, inabit
