Friday evening, 5:11 p.m. at the Ka's residence

Hoseok left after he showed me what to wear. He had bought me this really nice crop top and told me to pair it with ripped jeans. So I put my clothes into a bad and put the bag in his car. He was going to pick me up when all the speeches and eating was done.

"Y/n? Are you almost ready?!" My mom shouted from her room down the hallway.

"Yeah! Give me about twenty minutes!" I yelled back.

Bang

My bedroom door flew open and hit the wall. My 8-year-old little brother came in with his fake ray guy and started to shoot at me.

"Pew, pew, pew." He made fake gun noises. "I'm going to kill you!"

"Hey Jaehyun! Ch, ch, boom!" I shot my fake gun back.

He clutched an invisible walkie-talkie and ran behind my bed. "This is Red Eagle, come in, I need backup! Out!" He spoke into it. His head and the gun popped back up behind my bed.

"Pew, pew, pe-"

"Boom!" I shot as he fell to the ground grabbing at his chest.

"I'm down! I repeat, I'm down! Tell my family I love them.." he faded off while talking to the walkie-talkie.

"Ok get up Jae," I told him. He got up and came to sit by me.

"Whatcha doin'?" He asked. I was sitting at my vanity doing my makeup.

"My makeup. Want some?" I put the powdered brush next to his face.

"Ew! No. I'm not a girl," he pushed the brush away and scrunched up his face.

"Suit yourself," I shrugged. When I thought he was gonna leave, he spoke again.

"So, who was that boy that came over to 'check' on you?" He questioned. His elbow flew up and rested on my vanity.

'Why couldn't he just keep his mouth shut?' I thought. "No one. Just a friend. His name is Hoseok by the way," I said, pushing his elbow off my vanity.

"Ooooo, do you like Hoseok?" He said.

I became a little flustered. 'Why am I blushing I hate the kid!" I told myself. "No, ew. He's a friend, trust me nothing more." I told Jae. "Now go get dressed. You're going to make us late."

"M'kay, bye." He said and ran out of the room.

I finished up my make up and grabbed the gold heels from my closet. I put them on and walked downstairs to see my family getting their coats on.

"Wow, look at my girl!" My dad whistled. I kinda blushed.

"Honey, that's a beautiful dress. I've never seen you dress up so much! You should do it more often, it really shows off your beauty." My mom complimented me.

"Guys stop. Can we go now?" I asked them. They nodded so we went out to the vehicle. I admired our view of the city from the Range Rover we had.

Eventually we pulled up at the very elegant hotel, owned by the Mins, and went inside. The meeting room was decorated with gold touches. The tables were laid out nicely, too. My brother and I found our way to our table. The kids sat at a table, and the parents sat at their table. I saw Jin and Taehyung seated at the table. Taehyung was on his phone, but looked up when Jin rushed over to greet us.

"Y/n! O my goodness, look at you!" He said while hugging me. "You look gorgeous!"

"Thanks Jin," I said. We sat down at our table. I sat by Taehyung and my little brother on the other side.
