Back to school, 6:48 a.m.

Avoiding the boys was easy. I had the rest of the Christmas break to cool off. Taehyung would log into my Snapchat everyday to send himself and the rest—excluding Hoseok, who was blocked—streaks. "They were too precious" he carelessly told me. I had otherwise denied most calls.

Jungkook got fed up only three days after and drove to my house. He bluntly told my parents he needed to see me, because he would die if not, and all that was at midnight. My parents had to let the boy in, much to my displeasure.

"You should be grateful I care for you this much and came to see you," Jungkook said, barging into my room to flop down on the bed. I told him to go home, but he made himself comfortable.

"I just want to be alone," I joined him by laying down on the bed as well.

He shifted to his side so he could see me, "I know. I know hun, but you have to talk to us once school starts again."

He was right. The little bitch was right, and I couldn't think of anything to disagree with him.

"No, I'm going to become mute," I argued. How'd I get into Harvard again?

"Yeah okay," he laughed. "Now let's get you out of here." He stood up and pulled me with him.

"What the fuck," I yelped as I was pulled. "I ain't going anywhere. It's midnight!" He sat me back down on my bed.

"Yeah I know. We're gonna watch Netflix dumbass."

He's a little shit but a nice little shit. Jungkook spent the night that night and even brought me out for breakfast the next morning. Of course, he ambushed me and invited Jin, Namjoon, and Taehyung as well. That's the last time since I've seen them, but Jungkook had randomly showed up a couple of times.

I even skipped out on the annual banquet for New Years Eve. Basically, a bunch of companies and such get together and get drunk to bring in the new year. My family was always present, because we would bring the wine from our vineyard down south. This year it was everyone but me. My parents told other that I had "women" problems that day, so I stayed home.

Then there was that box. It sat on my dresser and stared at me. It was like it was throwing daggers in my direction. However, I hadn't opened it since, but I could still picture the ring clear as day as if it were infront of me.

I did some research about the ring. The diamond looking gem was actually white sapphire, and the ring came from an American company. The price was seven hundred dollars in US dollars. It was specially made, because the company only took requests and didn't have a line of their own.

Still, I wondered why he went through all that trouble. The ring was gorgeously but did I even deserve it?

But today, I had to go back to school and see everyone. I knew Hoseok would be expecting an answer, but I didn't have one for him. So instead I tried to fake sick. That didn't work. My parents sent me back to my room to get myself dressed.

Looking into my mirror, I really questioned if I could even face him today. I didn't look as happy as I've been. I had bags under my eyes that told everyone I don't sleep. My lips were chapped, claiming that I didn't take care of them. And worst of all, my smile was faded.

Makeup and fake smiles could only do so much for people. I kept my hood up on my sweatshirt, when I first entered the dreaded building. I walked to my class from locker, only taking off the sweatshirt in the class room.

The boys all sat around Hoseok and Taehyung's desk, talking about stuff and playing on their phones. I silently wished that I could take my seat infront of Hoseok without anyone causing a scene. But not all wishes can come true, and Jeon Jungkook proved that.
