Christmas Eve, 6:23 p.m. at Y/n's house
____

Months went by, and Hoseok and I got closer. We never defined what we were, but there was definitely something there. It was around the holidays, and the Jung family was hosting a Christmas Eve party at their place. My family was invited of course.

I was currently helping Jaehyun button up his dress shirt. The dress code was a casual formal. My dress was a simple white and embroidered with lace all throughout. It reached mid thigh, and the sleeves were shorter. I paired the look with golden bracelets and heels, no necklace because the dress had a turtleneck included.

"Okay bud, you're good." I patted out a few wrinkles in his shirt. Jaehyun was talking animatedly about a new tv show he was watching lately. I couldn't tell you what is was called or anything about it, because I was to distracted.

Hoseok had texted me about an hour ago. The message said that he wouldn't be able to talk with me that much tonight, because he'd be too busy entertaining the guests with his parents. However, he asked me to meet him outside with the guys after nine, claiming he had something to give me.

"Isn't that cool! He totally got his powers from the rock, but nobody knows how! Now they're going to run tests on him, if he doesn't escape," the little boy rambled. Humming, I nodded and put on his shoes for him.

"Ready to go?" My mother asked as she walked into the entry. She wore a beautiful, white jumpsuit that fit her figure nicely. Even at her age, she could pull off any outfit. Especially this one, with its loose bottom half and nearly sheer top half.

"Mom, your watch is going to get caught," I told her, standing up and putting on my own coat. She glanced down at her wrist where the long sheer sleeve met her watch. Indeed, it was stuck.

"I'll fix it in the car," she slipped on a coat. "Come, your father is waiting in the car."

We arrived at the large house, only to be greeted by the Jungs themselves when we entered the sitting room where everyone was gathered. The only family's here so far were the Kim's, Park's, Choi's, and Mins.

"Jaehwa, Youngsoo, I'm so happy you could make it," Hoseok mother gave my mother a hug once the door was open. Our fathers exchanged a handshake between themselves.

"Hi," a voice said beside me. I turned to see the one and only Jung Hoseok to my left.

"Hey, it's been a while," I gave him a smile. I didn't know if I should go in for a hug or give him a handshake, but obviously he had other plans. He gently grabbed my hands and placed a sweet kiss on them both. I couldn't decide, if I wanted to swoon over the chivalry or act disgusted from the cheesy act.

"Ooo! Look at our children, courting!" I could hear my mother squeal behind me, Hoseok's mom joining in. The redness spread to my cheeks in an instant.

"They are so cute together!" His mother yelled out. We turned to them, giving them a sarcastic look.

"Hoseok, my son, come greet the Ka's," Hoseok's dad clasped his hand over his son's shoulder. Hoseok bowed to my parents.

"Awh! You're so handsome," my mother pinched his cheeks, "no wonder our daughter seems to like you so much!"

"Mom! Stop please," I whined quietly and watched in horror, as she just scoffed and continued to throw compliments back at the boy. Hoseok was awfully flustered by the end of my mother's rant.

"And this is our daughter," my dad spoke up after they introduced my little brother, "Y/n, honey say hi."

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Jung, it's lovely to be here again," I bowed slightly, holding my dress in place.
