#9 Mrs Cumberbatch

As usual, the alarm goes off at 6 in the morning. Only this time, Charlotte wakes up before Benedict and got into the bathroom for a quick dress up.
When Benedict got up, Charlotte has already went downstairs to prepare their breakfast.

INT. KITCHEN - MORNING

Benedict walks into the kitchen.
He stood behind Charlotte while she's frying the eggs.

BENEDICT
Morning.

CHARLOTTE
(Surprised)
H-hi, good morning.

BENEDICT
(Chuckles)
You get scared very easily huh?

CHARLOTTE
A normal person would be surprised if someone creeps behind them!

BENEDICT
So... What are we having for breakfast today? Do you need any help?

CHARLOTTE
Nope, I'm almost done. I'm making eggs and bacons. Oh and I made coffee too, outside on the table. I'll be out with the food in a few minutes.

On his way out of the kitchen, he turn and looks at Charlotte while she's still cooking the bacon strips.

BENEDICT
So this is how it feels to have a wife...
(Smiles)

A few minutes later, Charlotte got out from the kitchen with two plates of breakfast.
They sat down and starts eating together.

CHARLOTTE
(Tries to study Benedict's facial expression)
Although it's a simple breakfast but I hope you like it.

BENEDICT
(Smiles)
Oh, no, not at all. I mean, it's lovely a meal. I really like it.

CHARLOTTE
(Blushes)
Why am I blushing?? He said he liked the meal not me!
T-thank you....

BENEDICT
(Sips on his coffee)
I've told Rachel not to get me breakfast from now onwards so I'm counting on you, Charlotte. By the way, my card is on the desk in our room upstairs if you want to buy groceries on your own. You can also use it when you go out with your friends. Basically, you can buy anything you want with it.

CHARLOTTE
(Confused)
But it's your card. How can I just use it to buy my stuff....

BENEDICT
Trust me, you can.

CHARLOTTE
But if....

BENEDICT
If anyone asks, just say you're Mrs Cumberbatch and that I allowed you to use it.

CHARLOTTE
(Blushes again at the title)
Not sure if I'll be able to say it out loud though...
U-um... okay...?
But I will not use it without telling you and I insist on this one so please let me.

BENEDICT
(Smiles)

INT. HALLWAY - MORNING

Charlotte is talking to her friends while waiting for their next class.
Elizabeth walks quickly to them.

ELIZABETH
(Squeals)
Have you guys checked your emails yet???

CHARLOTTE
Hey! Yeah, I did this morning on my way here. Well, it looks like I'm meeting Professor Hiddleston after class. Who were you assigned to?

ELIZABETH
(Excited)
You will not believe it but it's Benedict fucking Cumberbatch!!!!

EMILY
(Shocked)
Aw I'm so jealous!!! I got Dr Melissa ugh..... Boring

ELIZABETH
I know, right??? But I'm sharing him with... guess who?

CHARLOTTE
I'm guessing....Scarlet?

Coincidentally, Scarlet is walking towards them when Charlotte mentioned her name.

SCARLET
Girls, you guys are L-O-U-D.
Unfortunately nope, I'm with Dr.Melissa too

ELIZABETH
(Annoyed)
As much as I'm happy that I got Professor Cumberbatch, the other student who gets to share him is Vanessa!

EMILY
Who's Vanessa? You don't look too pleased when you mentioned her name.

SCARLET
Oh, no! Not THAT Vanessa!?

ELIZABETH
Well, how many Vanessas do we know, Scar? It's Vanessa Cunningham, that bitch who flirted with Professor Hiddleston 2 years ago? She is known for being slutty ever since our first day here, ugh.

CHARLOTTE
Woah, I don't know her yet but I already dislike the thought of her being with Benedict.
So she likes Professor Hiddleston?

SCARLET
Nah, she just flirts with whoever she thinks worth her time. For instance, our seniors or the Professors.

EMILY
(Sticks her tongue out)
Ew??? Was she in one of our classes?
I don't recall seeing anyone that fits that description though.

ELIZABETH
(Shooks her head)
I heard from my friend that she had a really bad flu so she's taking a few days off. But she should be back on.....

Before Elizabeth could finish her sentence, a group of students walks into the hallway.

ELIZABETH
(Gasps)
Shit! Not today!?

SCARLET
(Whispers to Emily and Charlotte)
There she is... Vanessa and her best friend Blanche from Paris.

EMILY
(Looks at the guy and looks back at Scarlet)
What about him? Is he with them too?

SCARLET
That would be Benjamin. It's no secret that he has this huge crush on Vanessa. Poor guy, Vanessa would never give him a chance.

Charlotte is observing her new classmate when she receives a new text message on her phone.
*Buzz*

[10:24AM]
MUM: Carly, Dad and I miss you so much! How are you doing in your new home and University? We are coming to visit you on the weekends. Can't wait to see you and Benedict!! xxx Mum

CHARLOTTE
(Internal screaming)
Mum and Dad are coming on the weekends? That's like two days away! They should've ask before making such plan. I don't even know if Benedict's going to want them here... Afterall, it is because of them that we have to get married and live together.... How am I going to ask him about it....
