INT. TOM'S OFFICE - MORNING
Tom was checking his email when there's a knock on the door.
TOM
(Not looking up from his computer)

CLAIRE
(Walks into the office)

(Looks up from his computer and looked puzzled)

CLAIRE
(Pretend to look hurt)
I can't believe we shared 3 years working for the same club and you don't remember me?
TOM
(Disbelief look on his face)

CLAIRE
Don't look at me like I just came back alive from the grave.
TOM
(Look at her from head to toe and back again)
I-I just can't believe that....
CLAIRE
(Chuckles)
That I've lose so much weight? That I'm crazy attractive now? By the way I'm joking. You know I'm joking right.
TOM
(Laughs)
You're right. I almost couldn't recognise you!

CLAIRE
(Smile)
I work out during my free time now Tom. Are you going to offer me to sit or do you prefer looking at me standing in these heels?
TOM
(Stood up and quickly gesture her to sit)
Oh god where are my manners! Please, have a seat.
CLAIRE
It has been so long since we last met.
TOM
Yeah... ever since you left to France.
Awkward silence for a few minutes.
TOM
(Changes the topic)
So... what made you come back?
For vacation?
CLAIRE
(Looks at Tom with a serious face)
For you.
TOM
(Surprised with her unexpected answer)
For- what?
CLAIRE
(Chuckles)
I'm joking! I came back for the position.
TOM
Do you intend to ever answer that question specifically, or do I have to guess?
CLAIRE
I heard that the assistant professor position was empty and that the board were looking for someone to fill in so I applied.
TOM
Ahh, I see. Which department did they assign-
Tom received another email in his inbox.
TOM
(Looks at Claire with an apologetic face)
Sorry, I have to check this. It's work, might be urgent.
Claire smiled and nodded telling Tom that it's okay she'll wait for him while he checks the email.
