A Gala surprise

I watched as Selvig and other scientists crowd around a CMS device . Clint Barton walks over to them , holding a tablet .

" Put it over there ! Where do you find all these people ?" Selvig questions Clint  , laughing slightly.

" SHEILD has not shortage of enemies , doctor ," Clint replies , clearly unamused and shows Selvig the information on Iridium.

" Is this the stuff you need ?" Barton asks , observing the screen and tapping on the glass.

Selvig nods enthusiastically," Yes , iridium ! It's found in meteorites , it forms anti- protons . Its extremely hard to get a hold of ."

" Especially when SHEILD knows you need it ."

" Well I didn't know ! " Selvig exclaims , then sees Loki coming their way , "Hey ! The tesseract is showing me so much , it's not just knowledge , it's ... truth!"

Loki smiles ," I know , what did it show you , Agent Barton ? "

" My next target , " he replies.

" Tell me what you need ."

"I'll need a distraction ... and an eyeball ," Barton commands then walks off.

Loki strolls over to me , by this time I have the red dress on but didn't wear the heels , if I was going to escape I need my boots .

" Me , you and our friends are going on a little trip ," Loki incites me .

" I'm not 5 you know , let me guess ? The gala ? " I responded , anger on my face .

" Precisely."

We drove to the Gala in what I think was called a Limo. I didn't speak a word with Loki or the agent that was driving us , I was just going over my plan in my head. We pulled to a stop and I looked out of the window to see the immense building that was crowding with innocent people going inside. I frowned and stared at Loki who was now getting out . He walked over to my side of the car and opened the door . He held his hand out to help me but I refused and got out on my own.

" You know , this plan of yours and everything you are going to do ... Is driving a wedge between me and you . I know you've always been jealous of Thor but this is taking it too far," I spat at him as I walked past . He grabbed my wrist and pulled me close to him as we began to walk inside the building .

" All I want is power , in the end ... i don't care what you or my brother thinks ," he snarled at me then acted as if he liked me . My gaze shifted to his cane which was really his staff with the mind controlling thing in it . I observed the colossal room which was extremely tall in height and had a drinks table at the end to which everyone was rushing to . A band played some soft music in the background . Loki was also inspecting the room , looking for someone , the head doctor to be exact . He locks contact with him and rushes over to him dragging me along then he lets me go but I don't leave like I had in my plan . He grabs the man roughly by the collar to which everyone reacts to and steps back and flips him onto the table and pulls out an optical torture device . He places it on the man's eye roughly and he begins to twist in pain . That's when chaos erupted . Everyone ran in different directions , guards began to evacuate everyone . Loki smiled deviously at me .

"See look Cali , this is true power ! With all your substantial fire power and might I add telekinesis powers , you could rule with me ! " he exclaims over all the screams .

" Never you monster !" I scream at him then begin to escape but I reacted to late and he catches my wrist with force and spins me around . The scan had been completed and the doctor lay there unconscious.
