I gasped and rolled over to the side , clutching my chest in pain , the deep red blood flowing down my armour. Tears left my eyes as Loki held the back of my head and smiled triumphantly. He dragged me over to the front of Thor's cell as Thor watched me desperately and was crying . He held Mjolnir in his hand tightly . Loki rushes over to the control panel and I see Thor give him one last hopeful look , before Loki slams his hand down on the button and the cell opens up and drops down into the earth below .
" Nooo ! " I scream , outstreching my arm in sadness , trying to bring him back . I fix my eyes on Loki ,"Monster ... you really are ... a monster ," I gasp , anger racing through me , my hair now a flame.
On the intercoms , I hear Steve and Tony ," Cap hit the lever !"
" I need a minute here !" Steve replies anxious then I hear the sound of scrapping metal and a gasp on Tony's end and I fear for the worst.
" You're gonna lose ,"Coulson croaks out sadly as Loki begins to leave.
Loki turns on his heel," Am I ?"
" It's in your nature ," Coulson moans in pain his hand on the weapon.
"Your heroes are scattered, one dieing over here , your floating fortress falls from the sky...where is my disadvantage ? " Loki mocks , looking for a reason .
I realise that I am dieing from blood loss and for some reason the sceptre is disallowing my Asgardian self healing to take over.
" You lack conviction ," Coulson sighs and winces in pain . I begin to feel a little dizzy.
" I don't think I -" Loki starts but Coulson stops him by starting up the weapon and blasts Loki in the chest .
" Hmm , So that's what it does ," Coulson jokes to me . I rush as quickly as I can to him without collapsing . By the time I turn to look at Loki , he's gone.
"Coulson , you're going to be okay , stay with me , I need medics in the detention ... level ... now !" I say into the intercoms gasping a little from my own wounds.
"Ca...i Are y...u ok...y? " Steve panics over the intercoms before they lose signal.
I feel the helicarrier lift up which tells me Steve and hopefully Tony have fixed the engine.
" I know I'm not okay , thank you Cali .. for showing me what man I could become today ," he says to me smiling.
" I let you die," I say softly and lower my head .
" Look at you !... then don't let me die in vain , get Loki and stay alive for me , the team need you ," Coulson says to me before Fury rushes in seeing two of his people down .
He rushes over to Coulson ," Stay awake! EYES ON ME !" He demands at Coulson . Before the medics get to me , I limp over in the over direction back to what I hope Tony and Steve.
As I approach the hallway where I left them , I see both of them leave. They gasp in shock , their faces draining of colour ," Cali , what did he do to you ?" Steve exclaims , tears running down his cheeks .
Tony picks me up ," The sceptre is not allowing me to self heal ," I explain softly ," Thor's ... gone , Banner ...Missing , Loki escaped .. Coulson down , he's dieing ," I continue , crying . Steve looks at me in shock, looking at my wound. Before he could say anything , Fury's voice comes on the intercoms," Agent Coulson is down ," Fury says shaking .
" Medics are on their way ."
" They're here ... and they called it . He's gone ," Fury says then the line goes dead . I cry into Tony's shoulder ," we can't risk any more deaths today . Let's get Cali to medics now ," Tony says glumly and we rush to the medic bay .
