What warmth I found
in your arms
comfort I'd never known before
joy, happiness I'd even say
something I'd never known before
this feeling's new
new as every single day
and unique, without losing
the scent of truth
for truth is what I feel today
universal, unbroken, unforgotten
a truth of the kind
you can only find
in your lover's arms
when the sky is low
and your heart flies high
above the clouds
of pain and anger
loss and sadness
and loneliness
searching for the sky
of ever-lasting bliss
found
in your arms.
